DIBBLE HOLLOW CEMETERY
August 2001
John and Ann Palmer surveyed the Dibble Hollow Cemetery in 2001. Using a survey completed in 1951 by the town historian, Catharine Dietz Lawyer, Ann compiled a new listing with notes on inscriptions and differences in dates. Some stones located in 1951 were not found and so noted. A few monuments were missed in 1951 and those are included. Whenever an inscription could be deciphered, it was added to the notes section. The names are listed in alphabetical order with cross references (when known) on those stones listed under maiden and /or married names. Ann Palmer is the genealogist in the family and the wife of John Everett Palmer III, formerly of Middleburgh, NY. John is related to many of the individuals buried in the Dibble Hollow Cemetery. If anyone is researching the Dibble, Fox, Moot, Palmer, Spaulding, and/or Terpenning families, feel free to contact Ann at [email protected]. The Palmers currently reside in Tampa, FL.
