2. 2. Diana Yakovleva practices fencing on foil. She was born and lives in Moscow. Shegraduated from the University of physical culture, sports, youth and tourism. She loves skiing and hiking, too.
3. 3. In 1998 Diana began going in for fencing. She has taken part in a great number of championships. Diana also took the 11th place in regtenge FIE.
4. 4. Diana`s first individual victory was in the Youth fencing tournament in 2004, where she won the silver. She joind the National team in 2005. Then she won the World Cup in Germany, took third place in Lyon (France). And 2 years later she became the champion of Europe.
5. 5. In 2013,Diana wascongratulated by Vladimir Putin on her victory in XXVII World University Games in Kazan.
6. 6. Despite numerous victories, Diana still trains very hard. Diana`s first World championship was held in Budapest, she was worried and was constrained in the action. Yakovleva, found the strength to cope.
7. 7. Diana Yakovleva finished the World Cup with an exellent result. Shewon the gold medal. Diana Yakovleva became the silver medalist in the Europian championship. She wants to go to the Olympics. We wish her goodluck, and we are proud that this girl used to be a student of our school.
