IntroductionDouble Dee technology Pvt. Ltd is a family owned busi-ness. Our family has been an international producer of diamond tools since 1968. Our main production facility is located at Mumbai, India. The company manufactures world class diamond tools for the Stone and Construction markets.

In order for our company to compete in the international market the need for high quality products is necessary. To meet these standards the company has invested in the Hot Isostatic Press (HIP) machine. This state-of-the-art HIP machine is the heart of our plant and is a key factor in staying ahead of the competition.

Diamond WireStoneWe offer a wide range of diamond wires for granite, marble and other dimensional stone quarrying, profiling, squaring and multi-wire cutting applications. Our beads are processed through the advanced Hot Isostatic Processing which gives better diamond retention and higher tool reliability.

Granite Wires – Our granite wires are produced using our patented diamond bead distribution system which allows for faster cutting and improved performance.

Our diamond wires are assembled with or without springs and generally encapsulated with specialized rubber and or plastic. Rubber encapsulated diamond wires have also been adapted for cutting of slate, marble and sandstone. The advantages of rubber encapsulation are as follows:

The rubber is bonded onto the steel cable thus protecting the inner cable from the stone slurry which can cause the cable to snap in operation.

Uneven water cooling of the diamond wire in operation can lead to plastic encapsulation softening and snapping which is avoided in rubber encapsulation as it has the ability to withstand higher operating temperatures.

Rubber wires are generally more flexible thus lesser chances of the diamond wire jamming and reduces the risk of uneven wear on the diamond beads.

Marble Wires – All our beads are processed through the HIP cycle offering advanced quality beads in terms of cutting speed and production cycle. Our sintered beads are proven to cut a variety of different marbles from throughout the world with great efficiency in terms of cutting speed and tool life. We constantly are working to optimize the combination of diamond and metal bond to offer newer products to our customers.

We also offer various accessories which are required for spring assembly of the diamond wire by our customer. All accessories in combination with our wire beads are proven to perform globally.

Our rubber encapsulated marble wires have proven to provide an operational tool life around 15,000 sq.ft thus lowering the manpower and accessories cost to re-assemble the marble wires. Please turn over

Diamond Blades Stone ApplicationIntroduction:Our stone cutting blades used for industrial applications are produced from 250mm onwards. The blades are manufactured using our patented segment design and are always welded on the steel core. All our blades can work in dry as well as wet cooling conditions, however wet cutting allows for better tools life and in lesser dust creation which is less hazardous.

The product chart is designed to offer the right blade for the right stone and application. We recommend that our customers choose the right blade for the job as detailed in our product list. We offer blades for marble, granite, sandstone and slate cutting with a wide size range and different product grades.

Segment Design:We offer various diamond segment shapes such as notched, turbo grooved, layered segments which are differentiated based on the end application i.e. stone and size of the blade. Our segments are designed with a patented foot design which allows for full diamond depth without base hence there is the advantage of higher performance. Further the blades are always welded thus it can be used for wet and dry applications.

Normal and Silent Cores:The circular disks are offered in standard steel cores which are more economical in comparison to the silent steel cores. However we believe silent steel cores are more environmentally friendly and clearly marked by the outer pink ring on our blade label.

Construction - General - Can be used for concrete, reinforced concrete and steel. Service life of the wire is dependent upon the material that is being processed.

Construction - Reinforced Concrete - Wire is designed for longer life and designed to be used mainly on reinforced concrete. The C31 has a harder bond designed for difficult jobs.

Construction - Metal - Used for dry cutting concrete, reinforced concrete and for steel. Robust design allows for good life/speed in demanding conditions.

Construction - Taper Electroplated Bead design allows for faster cutting in reinforced concrete and for finish cut applications.

Diamond Blades Construction ApplicationHaving the segment patented design and our welding technology our blades have the ability to run wet and dry i.e. with or without coolant. This technology allows us to produce blades for construction applications which are more demanding on the segment / core joint. Further in demanding construction applications cooling can be uneven which can lead to breakage of the segment which is protected by our advanced welding technique.

Our offer for construction blades is for various applications such as flooring sawing, wall sawing etc. Our segment design such as the double-notched with the layered diamond distribution allows for fast cutting. In the construction industry time is a demanding factor which we complement by our fast cutting blades.

Our Future Our present manufacturing plant is running at high capacity with the increase of our global sales. This in perspective we will be moving to a new state of the art LEED certified, ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2001 recognized plant in the middle of 2014. Our new plant will produce not only our present products which are diamond wire, wire beads, circular saws, multiwires but will also expand to manufacture cup wheels, core drills and other quality products.
