CASING.
TUFF (CHLORITIC).Volcaniclastic varieties and mixtures with compositional and/or fragmental clast sizesdifferent throughout. Sections of similar textures and compositions are no more thanten metres in length.Prominently broken core.
Patchy fine-grained scattered pyrite mineralization within amphibole 70*, feldspar30* speckled pyroclastic (tuff). Core has a speckled appearance due to mmeuhedral feldspar crystals (white) standing out in contrast to darker matrix. Faintpink-orange hue due to minor postassium-feldspar. Patchy brick red hematite mostlyin proximity to very thin 11 mm crosscutting calcite veining.Overall consistent gray matrix with black-green amphibole and white to faint grayfeldspar crystals (mm) flattened (pressed) in an interwoven style of ash tuff throughout.Minor coarser grained sections (up to 0.6m) where matrix contains orange-pinkpotassic patches allowing black 1 -3mm angular shards to stand out (shards of thissize are patchy).Similar texture as last section with matrix becoming finer grained having overall darkgray appearance. Patches of black chloritized angular shards up to 1 2mm in length(rare). Bands of black amphibole and quartz-potassium-feldspar (up to 1 5cm wide)gradational to semi-abruptiy occuring in vicinity of very fine-grained areas (mostnotable 34.50m-54.35m). Patchy 5-20cm bands hosting medium-grained 1-2cmelongate black amphibole crystals, most in vicinity of orange iron stained calciteveined areas. Semi-abrupt yet slight gradual (50cm transitional area) into nextsection.
PORPHYRY (FELDSPAR).Faint pink tint within massive gray biotite-amphibole-quartz-feldspar matrix. Mm whiteeuhedral to subhedral feldspar phenocrysts throughout. In local patches it appearsmore like an ash tuff with stringy, wavey weakly chloritized amphibole crystalsalthough ii1mm thick are 1-2. 5cm lengths. Weakly to nonfoliated. Non-magneticexcept isolated pyrrhotite near biotite seams (especially 87.90m-88.1 1 m). Verygradual coarsening of feldspar phenocrysts to 1 1 0.50m- 1 1 6.40m where feldspar

henocrysts display weak zonation and are up to 3mm - this area hosting fine-to
medium-grained pyrite scattered throughout ("M 'to) but throughout section overall a
trace of fine-grained pyrite (check samples).
PORPHYRY (AMPHIBOLE).
Gradational contact into dark gray chloritic amphibole-biotite-quartz-feldspar porphyry
with 5-1 5mm elongate splayed dark green-black amphibole phenocryst* which
predominate throughout (same composition as earlier porphyry but 50* less
feldspar and 50"5fe more amphibole). Massive to faintly foliated. Non-magnetic. Trace
very very firm-grained pyrite disseminated throughout - especially in areas where
amphibole phenocrysts are well developed (check samples).
LAPILLI TUFF.Stringy white hairthin calcium veinlets parallel to foliation (pervasive) separate black
chloritized tephra (appears compacted) throughout. Isolated fine-grained pyrite
crystals.

ALTERED FRACTURED TUFF?
Light orange tinted hematite stained gray ash to lapilli tuff fractured throughout with
ocal weak silicification. Well foliated with texture resembling that of a porphyry.
Ash and lapilli sized pyroclastic fragments not easy to distinguish nor conclusive due
o dusty pink to brick red hematite alteration which tends to be patchy (1 -4cm
alteration) which is overprinted by weak silicification which has then been remobilized
y quartz and calcite hairthin to mm veinlets throughout. Predominantly barren of
mineralization.
iroken core.
froken core.
MAFIC VOLCANIC.
Black fine-grained to aphanitic massive mafic volcanic with razor sharp contact with
altered tuff. 0.5mm chloritic black spots throughout. Minor white carbonate hairthin
veinlets along weak fracturing throughout.
FOLIATED ALTERED TUFF.
Sharp contact into layed tuff. Whereas foliation within mafic volcanic is 28*, the
contact angle and foliation of tuff is offset by 90* from it. Weakly silicified throughout,
patchy, potassic alteration hues that brighten to bright pink when concentrated in
crossfracture veinlets. Veins of very minor hematite alteration (orange-red).
MAFIC VOLCANIC.
Slack massive, weakly magnetic mafic volcanic with white mm to hairthin carbonate
veinlets jagged as fracture fill. Distinct 0.7mm plagioclase crystals throughout.
Patch of porphyritic tuff material, rimmed by white carbonate and red hematite,
surrounded by mafic volcanic.
TUFF.
Very short section of foliated weakly silicified hematite altered tuff with porphyritic
appearance.

MAFIC VOLCANIC.
tedium green chloritized non-magnetic mafic volcanic with jagged carbonate fracture
fill veinlets throughout. Trace pyrite locally.
FAULT ZONE.
Fractured broken core with frequent FAULT GOUGE mostly parallel to core axis.
FAULT is at the contact between mafic volcanic (clastic?) and foliated tuff. Gouge
strongly carbonaceous. Gradtionalry less fracturing into foliated tuff. (Test with
ohmmeter - non-conductive).
TUFF.
Strongly foliated, weakly silicified, patchy hematite stained areas with flattened
wavey 0.5-20mm ash sized feldspathiciquartz tephra throughout. Local porphyritic
appearance with quartz eyes, beige feldspathic, feldspar crystals sometimes mixed
potassium-feldspar-hematite stain and black chloritic mm specks. Local fracturing
but fairly consistent throughout Minor crosscutting carbonate veins. Pervasive brick
red hematite stain in close proximity to pyrite mineralization and strong chloritization.
Scattered and isolated fine-grained pyrite crystals.

CASING.
FELDSPAR PORPHYRY (BIOTITE, AMPHIBOLE).
Relatively massive dark feldspar porphyry with matrix that hosts 55"* marks
predominantly green-black mm amphibole with minor ^Ott biotite. Ivory 1-2mm
feldspar phenocryst euhedral to subhedral fairly evenly distributed throughout;
quartz component not easy to distinguish from feldspar (quartz appears very minor).
Very minor rusty red hematite stain which occurs in vicinity of very rare epidote
veinlets or minor mm thin carbonate veinlets. Overall evenly fractured throughout with
breaks in the core every 1 5cm or so. Rare quartz veining with trace pyrite.
Brecciation (weak) with white carbonate veining leaving fragments ( d -3cm) as islands
Veining from 64.26m-64.36m containing medium-to coarse-grained pyrite within
wallrock of porphyry.
Quartz-carbonate vein 1cm thick at roughly 12* to core axis contains medium-to
coarse-grained pyrite and weakly mineralizes surrounding wallrock. Despite veining,
trace of fine-grained pyrite.
Black chloritic xenolrths of ash tuff semi-parallel to weak foliation, 3+cm in length
scattered throughout section.
Medium gray-green weakly silicified feldspar porphyry with low angle ^1 6*) quartz
veining icarbonatetepidote. Non-mineralized.
White calcite vein with blood red hematite stained halo.
Short interval where no white feldspar phenocryst occur. Dark matrix with increase
in chloritized amphiboles.

CASING.
FELDSPAR PORPHYRY (BIOTITE).
Dark gray massive biotite-feldspar porphyry with 1 -2mm light gray to white euhedral
feldspar crystals throughout. Looking with 20x lens biotite appears to make up most
of the mafic component AS1*! (very fine-grained) with just a few crystals of amphibole
present. No feldspathic alteration apparent. Rusty red hematite staining occurs
along veinlets tcarbonate tquartz pyrite mineralization locally.
Broken core.
Quartz vein rimmed with 1 -2cm thick rusty red hematite stain hosting scattered
medium-grained pyrite crystals.
Broken core fractured. Possible FAULT GOUGE at 33.25m with rusty hematite stain
but lacking any carbonate.
INTERVALS of FRACTURED/FAULTED FELDSPAR PORPHYRY.
Fine-grained chloritized lacking phenocryst and strongly foliated with fractured
quartz veining carbonate (mafic volcanic?).
Fractured and faulted zone with gray carbonate-rich brecciated material separating
fragments (1 -3cm) of chloritized and altered porphyry and offset white carbonate
veining. Minor rusty red hematite staining; no pyrite mineralization.
Quartz veining with calcite-filled fractures hosting scattered medium-to coarse-grained
pyrite crystals. Veins are 1-2cm thick and contain a thin elcm halo of rusty red
hematite stain in contacts with wallrock. Low angle veining (4-20* to core axis).
FAULT ZONE with high angle gouge and brecciation in two areas.
WEAKLY ALTERED FELDSPAR PORPHYRY.
Local weak foliation and hematization lepidote; up to 5"* amphibole.
End of Hole.

CASING
FELDSPAR PORPHYRY (BIOTITE).
Weakly foliated to massive, amphibole-biotite-(quartz?)-feldspar porphyry with light
gray 1-2mm euhedral to subhedral feldspar crystals standing out against darker
mainly biotitic amphibole quartz (and feldspar) matrix.
FINE-GRAINED GABBRO (WEAK PYRITE).
Hnted green-blue but dark gray fine-grained nonfoliated gabbro with razor sharp
contacts. Plagioclase-biotite and amphibole make up >90V> of composition. Very
fine-grained pyrite specks evenly distributed throughout
ALTERED/WEAKLY FRACTURED FELDSPAR PORPHYRY.
Composrtionally similar to porphyry observed earlier with minor localized differences
where fracturing and weak silicification have occurred. In areas adjacent to quartz
icarbonate veining, epidote-carbonate-hematite has developed with short 1-5cm
intervals appearing relatively mafic in composition. Fracture fill carbonate veining
always occurs where alteraion is best developed. Non-mineralized.
FAULT BRECCIATION.
Silicified and rusty red hematrtie stained fragments Omm-several em's within
silicified brecciation zone, which is relatively barren of carbonate veining. (FAULT
lines up with VLF EM crossover: drill target). No mineralization.
FOLIATED TUFF.
Buff-gray, well foliated, stacked, jagged, spindly lenses to jagged hues of dusty gray
and dark gray quartz-feldspar-weak sericitic components. Blue quartz eyes and light
gray to white feldspar eyes ci -2mm diameter each have long tails that extend for
several times (5-10:1) JMfi size. Scattered pyrite mineralization.Jinr

LITHOLOGYDetailed Description
AMPHIBOLE-RICH GABBRO.)ark gray with black to gray mm mosaic chloritized amphibole interlocked crystalshroughout. Massive, non-magnetic; with minor white mm carbonate veinlets.
Scattered fine-grained specks of pyrrhotite and pyrite (trace). A gradual yet verydistinct decrease in mm-size to somewhat aphanitic to very fine-grained.
MAINLY FINE-GRAINED MAFIC VOLCANIC.Medium gray, locally foliated, fine-grained to aphanitic, non-magnetic mafic unit.
Within the first two metres, dark green bands with carbonate dots (mm) appear assmall pillow selvages. There are three distinct such structures, mafic unit is simplyine-grained with carbonate veinlets. By 49.00m mafic unit develops a massiveappearance as if to be a (very) fine-grained gabbro. From 60.00m area to end ofsection weakly foliated amphibole-rich no longer do amphiboles have spottedmosaic appearance but are more stubby and trend slightly along foliation.
ASH TUFF.Light gray, weakly foliated with 1 -2mm white to green-black, flattened to subangulartephra slightly 'mini'-ribboned adjacent to one another. Flattening of tephra 3-6: 1 .
QUARTZ VEIN (PYRRHOTITE, CHALCOPYRITE).White to glassy, weakly fractured quartz vein at the contact between tuff and gabbro. In contact with tuff, nonmineralized. A few splashes of pyrrhotite with tiny mmchalcopyrite specks (within pyrrhotite) in central area of vein. In contact with gabbro3mm-wide mineralized zone hosting pyrite, pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite.
FINE-GRAINED GABBRO.
Medium to dark gray relatively massive mostly fine-grained amphibole-rich gabbro, with local quartz veining. Trace of fine-grained pyrite.Small 1-3cm quartz veins hosting pyrite and pyrrhotite.
QUARTZ VEIN.White to vitreous weakly fractured quartz vein with discontinuous trains and veins ofmedium-to coarse-grained pyrite, splashes of pyrrhotite and specks of chalcopyrite.

LITHOLOGYDetailed Description
Black feldspar porphyry segment with white 1 -2mm feldspar phenocrysts. Thin mmgreen chloritic (1 cm-wide and ^mm thick) discontinuous seams throughout. Tracepyrite (fine-grained).Quartz vein with massive webbed pyrrhotite and minor specks of chalcopyrite.
WEAKLY SILICIFIED PORPHYRY.Black with white feldspar phenocryst up to 2mm, weakly foliated so as to slightlysmear phenocryst. Very weakly silicified. Trace pyrite and pyrrhotite.
RECRYSTALLIZED PILLOW VOLCANICS.Very sharp contact into light to medium gray, medium-to fine-grained ^1mm) chloriticvolcanic with minor seams of biotite. Very peculiar round bands (up to 2cm thick)appear as pillow selvages, some as from 185.00m-1 86.00m have white carbonatedots 1 mm haloed on both sides being amygdaloidal. Trace pyrrhotite and up to G.5%pyrite locally (particularly in gabbroic textured areas).Medium-grained recrystallized to gabbroic texture.Quartz vein, barren of mineralization with trailing 65cm quartz-feldspar porphyry.
White carbonate veining with pyrrhotite splashes and trace chalcopyrite and pyrite.
Well developed pillow selvages with accompanying white mm-sized carbonate-filledamygdules.Silicified porphyry with specks of pyrrhotite and/cr potassuim-feldspar altered.Local silicification and accompanying veining ^carbonate that carries high ratios ofchalcopyrrte:pyrrhotite (1:10). Highest proportionate amounts of chalcopyrite observedin drill hole so far. Veining does not follow foliation and is observed at several differentangles.

UTHOLOGYDetailed Description
Scattered quartz veining containing specks of pyrrhotite.276.30m-277.00m altered and strongly silicified volcanic.278.82m-279.50m silicified quartz-feldspar porphyry relatively barren of mineralization283.00m-284.00m local accumulation of pyrrhotite specks.Transition 'clastic' zone appears either fragmented or injected with carbonate. Weaklyoliated.292.00m-292.50m small contact zone between an apophyses sill of porphyry thatras clearly pierced and intruded into the volcanic. Minor pyrrhotite specks in clearsilicification contact vein.
FELDSPAR PORPHYRY (SIL).Massive black to dark gray feldspar porphyry with 0.5-3mm feldspar phenocryststhroughout (25"*), the darker silicified matrix of amphibole-biotite-quartz and feldspar.Silicification locally intensifies. Crystals of quartz grains not visible due to glassycrossline nature of matrix. Isolated pyrrhotite specks.
FINE-GRAINED GABBRO.Dark green-gray massive non-magnetic fine-grained amphibole-rich gabbro. Matrixmainly of plagioclase and amphibole equigranular mixture. Throughout the sequence[2-4cm) white subhedral feldspar phenocrysts have developed (indicating the intrusivenature). Isolated pyrrhotite and pyrite specks.White quartz veining with cm-sized specks and splashes of pyrrhotite.Silicified (porphyry?) with accompanying quartz veins and minor slip planes whichhave not developed breccia or gouge.Feldspar porphyry sill with fused yet sharp contacts with gabbro. (Porphyry clearlyhas intruded into gabbro, coarse-grained size in centre and slightly smallerphenocrysts in contact with gabbro).Altered/silicffied porphyry (ghost like in appearance after alteration with remnants ofthe protolith) becomes relatively unaltered (sharp contact) with somewhat equal grainsize (phenocrysts) down section, ends at very sharp contact with gabbro.
End of Hole.
