Practice in Diamagnetic Therapy

An appropriate approach to the Diamagnetic treatments is

determined by rules knowledge of general methodology,

Therefore, it is very important to have some knowledge and some experiences to make all operation phases of treatment correctly and to obtain maximum therapeutic advantage for each client and each pathology.


Common working procedure foreseen 6 substantial activities in the preliminary treatment :

1 Verify the contra indication to the treatment

2 Prepare the patient

3 Identify the Neutral Cream

4 Select working system using the neutral plate whether it is a single or double neutral system

5 Identify the medicine classes uses in the Molecular Implant

6 Identify the sequences of operation from the available action mechanism


Contra indications to treatment

Before you make a treatment, it is always useful to understand the contra indications to treatment.

Further on, you must perform a preliminary medical history of the patient in order to detect: unsuitable physiological status such as the presence of ferromagnetic in the body under treatment.


Verification procedure

Verification procedure is useful for verifying and confirming the possibility of prosthesis type in the area which will be treated by diamagnetic.

The procedure is through the approaching of an electrode with metallic prosthesis to verify in adequate status or less.


Intolerance to treatments

There is no particular intolerance or manifestation, such as allergy, in diamagnetic therapy session. The actual problems usually happen or appear due to the use of medicine products in the treatment using Diamagnetic. Other possibility could be the over dosage of medicine.


Preparation of Patient

BED:

It is recommended to use the isolated beds or type of treatment beds that do not have the metal part even if it is not prescribed for not using it. This precaution is useful to prevent alternated electrical current during the treatment.

However, if it is possible that the patient does not

touch any metal part that is exposed during the treatment and that this kind of conduction is not exist, the precaution is excluded.


CREAM

The option of conductor cream must be done according to the following criteria: if you do not use a product with active principle which then binds us in a particular reaction, you have to use a neutral cream that should have several criteria.

Neutral Cream:• They must satisfy the electrical conductibility requirement. • They must not be electrolyzed at the strong and dense current. • They must not have incompatible pH with the electrodes that

you use.• They must have a slow absorbance character for lasting sliding• They must have a monitored value of kinematic viscosity and

dynamic • The thickness and whole structure of cream must be

maintained the same even when the temperature is more than 40°C.


Single and Double Return Plate Method

Return plate is necessary to close the current towards the generator during the treatment.

In Diamagnetic Therapy, the return plate is used only if you would like to use as well the Radio Frequency in the treatment.

The position of the neutral plate must be chosen strategically due to their influence in the treatment results.

In positioning the return plate, you should keep the consideration as following: the plates must be positioned in the part of body that is less sensitive and has a large area, this is to reduce the thermal effect.

Further on, they must guarantee that the current path should be as short as possible hence affect all tissues during the treatment.

It means a symmetric emission of radio frequency, it is very useful in case of treating specific areas of body such as the back.

Expansion of energy area allows reducing the treatment time in case you should make treatment on the big area.

For example, to treat a whole leg, you should place these double return plate as indicated in the figure, it allows to emit the energy in all area without a necessity to move the return plate. It will receive the same energy in all area between two return plates.

Homogenous of emission

Homogenous of emission is an applicative method which is very common to use to keep the homogenous of energy emitted in the tissue without having a risk that only several parts of body receive more energy than the others (that close to the return plate having more energy) as happened with the other classical method.

With two return plates, the energy transmission is the same in all treated area.

The heat, therefore the energy, is bigger in the area near to the return plate and it tends to lessen when it get far away from the return plate.

This program is specifically made for the analgesic therapy.It uses the frequency below 300 KHz. For example 200 – 250 KHz reacts and stimulates the nerves ending, making it larger and make the analgesic effect more immediate.

• Term of medicine application If the medicine is in the cream or gel form and it uses directly in the area that is treated.If the medicine is in the liquid form, the procedure provides the use of gauze or hydrofoil cotton disc with the substance. The tissue, then, is positioned on the treated area and the handle is positioned on the gauze.

• Stratification of pharmacologyThe stratification of medicine can be done with an orderly selection of medicine that you like to penetrate in the depth layer of the tissue, therefore from the depth to the superficial tissue. It is possible to penetrate also the mixture of medicine in case you consider it useful.


The penetrable medicine are all substances which has the active principle with diamagnetic property.

The medicine that does not have diamagnetic property can use the water (or a gel), using it like a vector to transport the molecule in the tissue layer .

General Guide Line

If you would like to treat an acute pathology with diffused edema, it is recommended to proceed the treatment with drainage phase

Whether there is trauma on the muscle system (causing the immobility: former casts), it is possible to end the treatment with an endogenous stimulation phase with selecting the target: CELL

Whether our interest is not to drain but rather directing the liquid in the treated area, it is possible to work with drainage program on the distal area and afterwards carry out the treatment

If it is necessary to reduce the pain without using the medicine, you could use the Pain Control mechanism + diathermy

Whenever you want to favoring the molecular implant, it is recommended to make a treatment with drainage phase for 5 minutes

Energy transfer system for capacitive and resistive diathermy

Diathermy is an energy transfer technique with resistive and capacitive mode.

It produces heat in the living tissue, provoke an augment of heat whether in the depth as well in the superficial layer.

Between these heat effects and of bio-stimulation consequences, first of all is the vasodilatation, a condition that characterized by an augment of blood flow in the blood vases, that intensify the blood circulation in the interested area in the treatment and generally, contribution of extra cell liquid.

In normal operation condition, the liquid movement induced in the diathermy process suffers a setback.
