Opie : Mom I got a news from advertisement about singing contest. The name of contest is

Indonesian Idol. I beg your permission to give me a chance to follow the contest.

Fia : When the contest held? Are you sure to compete with every people in Indonesia? If yousure about it, I will give you permission. Think twice dear.

Opie : The day after tomorrow mom, my friend already register me to join this contest. So, we

only prepare ourself to face the contest. I’m totally sure to compete with every people. Thanks

mom! I promise Mom, I’ll do the best! 

(The day after tomorrow……) 

Fia : Are you ready for today?

Opie : Of course mom!!! Let’s go!! 

Fia : Wait a minute, you have to pray to start this big day dear..

Opie : Almost forgot mom…God, I wish I can do it better than anyone and I got the first winner.

Opie : Mom, suddenly I got nervous. My hand is trembling.

winner and a loser. No matter about it, all you have to do is the best perform in front of the

 judges. Don’t think about the other participant. 

Opie : (Take a deep breath) Oh Mom!! You are the best mom ever! Thanks! I’ll do the best for

you.

Fia : This is your nametag. You have to be relax and do it better!

Opie : (Smiling)

Opie : Lalalala…..(Singing) 

(Announcement the winner, and Opie got the first winner)

Opie : (Scream happily) Mom!!!!!!!!!!!

Fia : I know dear!! Congratulation!! I’m proud of you!! 

Opie : We got many presents. There are money and a branded autocar!!!

Fia : Thanks to Allah! I’m so proud of you dear!! I don’t know what to say….. 

Opie : I know Mom! Because of you I can do the best, Thanks a lot my dear mom.

Fia : Let’s go home we have to tell to your father. He must be proud of you.

Opie : Mom you can drive a car, right?

Opie : Let’s go home with our new car.

Opie : Mom, look! How pity they are! They have no parents and they have no place to stay.

Opie : How pity they are. I know that feel, I will give them some money to them. I will say it to

my mom after arrived at home. (Saying in deep heart)

Opie : knock..knock..Open the door dad!

Fia : Your father still working dear. Here the key

(Open the door…Then come in) 

Opie : How great today Mom! Today is the best day ever!!!!

Fia : I know dear, you loose control. Now, sit down here. Tell me how was your feel when you

will get up to the stage?

Opie : I felt totally self-confident. I remember all you said Mom. I sang fluency hehehe

Fia : That’s my girl. I’m so proud of you.

Opie : Thanks Mom!! Almost forgot, I want to tell you something mom

Fia : What’s that?

Opie : When you were driving our new car a few minute ago, I saw some orphans who are

homeless on the road. I feel sympathy to them. I want to give all my money that we got from our

winning to them. I think they need this money more than us. Are you agree Mom?

Fia : Are you kidding, right? Let’s think dear, one year later you will graduate and you will be a

student at the college. This money will help the finance of your college later . Why don’t you

think to keep this money in the bank?

Opie : I know Mom, but they need this money more than us. Daddy has a job, and you have a

 business. We can save both your salary. We can do it starts from now. So, when I am become a

student at the college we can have enough money.

Fia : Listen, we have a lot of debts. We use our salary to pay off the debts. I have an idea, we

give the orphans only 10% from this money.

Opie : Mom, please think about it. They have no home! Look us, we have a home and we have a

car. We can sell our car to pay off the debts.

Fia : Let me think dear………. 

(A few minute later)

Fia : Allright, we will give the orphans 50% from this money.

Opie : No Mom!! Listen, they need a home. This money will help them to rent a home. So they

can live happily. Don’t you feel the happiness if you see them happy? 

Fia : But…… 

Opie : I tell you what, we will give the orphans 70% from this money and 30% more for savings.

(The sound of Dad’s motorcycle…) 

Dad : Knock….knock  

Fia : Listen..Your Dad is home. Don’t talk about it to your father before we got the decision.
