DI-fusion: behind the scene• Software used:

admin interface: DSpace (open source data repository) search engine: MySQL/SOLR metadata format: DIDL/MODS search interface: Vufind (open source software developed by and for libraries) + in-house development

• Implementation: launched on 09/09/09 at 09:09 today: more than 19000 references from which about 14% has full text attached DI-fusion is developed together with the Research evaluation process currently in progress at ULB

Associate a file : 1) check the Intellectual Property right applying



Associate a file : 2) search for the file to associate 3) choose the type of access to grant to the file 4) choose the version of the file that is added (preprint, postprint ou pubprint) 5) if necessary, add an embargo date

• automate references ingestion into DI-fusion (PubMed, EndNote,…)• integrate our link resolver to the Search interface (to facilitate full text retrieval from our e-resources)• provide statistics (at publication level) over the use of DI-fusion• export lists of publications that can be easily added to the academics personnel web pages• disseminate to other archives (Repec, Google Scholar) ; make DI-fusion being referenced by main search engines…
