that includes violent and criminal incidents at campuses in the district

• This piece of the report must include:

• Number, rate and type of incidents

• Information concerning school violence prevention and intervention policies and procedures used by the district

• Findings that result from Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act

• Emergency Operations Plan available at Central Office and on each campus

• Implementation of HB 121 -teen dating violence policy that includes safety planning, enforcement of protective orders, school-based alternatives to protective orders, counseling for affected students, and awareness education for students and parents.

• Implementation of House Bill 1041 - a plan for addressing sexual abuse of a children.

• Implementation of House Bill 1942 - Bullying Prevention and Reporting (reporting procedures on website)

• Elementary - weekly character ed. classes (bullying, Stranger Danger, etc…) that include various curriculums. Red Ribbon week presentations.

• Devine Intermediate – Character Ed. Class; Red Ribbon week presentations; Bullying Presentation

• DMS - Bullying prevention lessons in PRIDE classes; Gossiping Lesson; and Safety Lesson in Pride

• DHS-Teen Dating Violence; Parental and Paternity Awareness (PAPA) curriculum in health class; and Bully and Cyberbullying awareness
