Addair in small increments and frequently use the ltire gauge to prevent over inflation.

6. Use a tire pressure gauge tocheck the tires pressure beforeeach use and while inflatingtires; see the tire sidewall for the
correct tire pressure. NOTE: Airtanks, compressors, and similarequipment used to inflate tirescan fill small tires similar to these
very rapidly. Add air-in smallincrements and frequently usethe tire gauge to prevent overinflation.

PRESSURE ADJUSTMENTS
The pressure setting is preset at thefactory to achieve optimum pressureand cleaning. If you need to lower thepressure, it can be accomplished bythese methods_
1. Back away from the surfaceto be cleaned. The further awayyou are, the less the pressure willbe on the surface to be cleaned.
2. Change to the 40 ° nozzle -(white) this nozzle delivers a lesspowerful stream of water and awider spray pattern.
DO NOT attemptto increase pump
pressure. A higher pressure settingthan the factory set pressure maydamage pump,

or' with any pets or animals. NEVER fill fuel tank when engine is running or hot. Do notsmoke when filling fuel tank°
NEVER fill fuel tank completely., Fill tank to 1/2" below bottom of filler neckto provide space for fuel expansion. Wipe any fuel spillage from engine andequipment before starting engine.
NEVER run engine indoors or in enclosed, poorly ventilated areas° Engine exhaustcontains carbon monoxide, an odorless and deadly gas.DO NOT let hoses come in contact with very hot engine rnuffler during orimmediately after use of your pressure washer. Damage to hoses from contact withhot engine surfaces will NOT be covered by warranty,
NEVER pull water supply hose to move pressure washer: Thiscould damage hose and/or pump inlet.
DO NOT use hot water; use cold water only,NEVER turn water supply off while pressure washer engine is running or damage topump will result.

CHANGING NOZZLES ON SPRAYWAND

1. Pull quick connect coupler backand insert nozzle.
2. Release quick connect couplerand twist nozzle to make sure it
is secure in coupler.

HOW TO APPLY CHEMICALSAND CLEANING SOLVENTS
Applying chemicals or cleaningsolvents is a low pressure operation.NOTE: Use only soaps and chemicalsdesigned for pressure washer use_ Donot use bleach.
To Apply chemicals:
1. Press chemicalhose onto
barbed fittinglocated near highpressure hoseconnection of
pump as shown2. Place other end of chemical
hose with filter on it into container
holding chemical/cleaningsolution° NOTE: For every 7gallons of water pumped 1 gallonof chemical/cleaning solution willbe used,
3. Install low pressure (black}nozzle into quick connect fittingof spray wand, see How To UseSpray Wand paragraph in thissection.
4. After use of chemicals, placechemical hose into containerof clean water and draw
clean water through chemicalinjection system to rinsesystem thoroughly, If chemicalsremain in the pump it could bedamaged. Pumps damaged dueto chemicals will not be covered
under warranty.
NOTE: Chemicals and soaps will notsiphon when spray wand is in the highpressure setting,,
STARTING
Prior to starting, refer to your enginemanual for proper starting procedure.
1. In a well ventilated outdoor
area add fresh, high quality,unleaded gasoline with a pumpoctane rating of 86 or higher. Donot overfill. Wipe up spilled fuelbefore starting the engine,. Referto Engine Owners Manual forcorrect procedure.
2. Check engine oil level. SeeEngine Owners Manual for correctprocedure.
3. Verify the filterscreen is inwater inlet of
pump_ NOTE:Cone sidefaces out,,
4. Connect water
source to pump inlet. NOTE:Water source must provide aminimum of 5 gallons per- minute at2O PSI.
5. Connect high pressure hose topump outleL

6. if applying a chemical orcleaning solution, see HowTo Apply Chemicals/CleaningSolvents instructions in thissection°
7. Turn water source on.NOTE: Failure to do so could
cause damage to the pump.

8. Start engine. See EngineOwners Manual for correct
procedure. NOTE: When enginerope is pulled, pressure startsbuilding in the gun. If the enginedoes not start after two pulls,pull the gun trigger to relieve thispressure°
9. Depress trigger on gun tostart water flow. NOTE: Stand
on a stable surface and gripgun/spray wand firmly with bothhands. Expect the gun to kickwhen triggered,
10. Release trigger to stop waterflow.
11. Adjust nozzle spray for thetask being performed. See HowTo Use Wand instructions in thissection.
SHUTTING DOWN
1. After each use, if you haveapplied chemicals, place chemicalhose into container of clean water
and draw clean water throughchemical injection system to rinsesystem thoroughly, NOTE: Failureto do so could cause damage tothe pump.
2. Turn engine off. See EngineOwner's Manual. NOTE: NEVER
turn the water off with the enginerunning,
3, Turn water source off.
4, Pull trigger on spray gun torelieve any water pressure in hoseor spray gun°
5, See Storage section in thismanual for proper storageprocedures,

When perlormingmaintenance_ you
may be exposed to hot surfaces,water pressure, or moving parts thatcan cause serious injury or death!
Before performing any maintenanceor repair, disconnect spark plugwire, let engine cool and releaseall water pressure. The enginecontains flammable fuel. DO NOT
smoke or work near open flameswhile performing maintenance.
To ensure efficient operation andlonger life of your pressure washer; aroutine maintenance schedule should
be prepared and followed., If thepressure washer is used in unusualconditions, such as high-temperaturesor dusty conditions, more frequentmaintenance checks will be required.
ENGINEConsult the Engine OwnersManual for the manufacturer's
recommendations for any and allmaintenance. Consult the EngineOwners Manual for the manufactur _
er's recommendations for any andall maintenance_ NOTE: The frame is
equipped with an oil drain hole to helpmake changing the engine oiI easier.
PUMPThe pump on this unit is maintenancefree and requires no oil, if there is aproblem with the pump contact anAuthorized Service Center.
NOZZLE CLEANINGIf the nozzle becomes cloggedwith foreign materials, such as dirt,excessive pressure may develop. Ifthe nozzle becomes partially cloggedor restricted, the pump pressure willpulsate. Clean the nozzle immediatelyusing the nozzle kit supplied and thefollowing instructions:
1. Shut off the pressure washer andturn off the water supply.
2= Pull trigger on gun handle torelieve any water pressure.

Disconnect the spray wand fromthe gun.
Remove the high-pressure nozzlefrom the spray wand. Removeany obstructions with the nozzlecleaning toot provided andbackflush with clean water:
5. Direct water supply into spraywand to backflush loosened
particles for 30 seconds_
6. Reassemble the nozzle to thewand,
7. Reconnect spray wand to gunand turn on water supply_
8. Start pressure washer' and placespray wand into high pressuresetting to test°
HOW TO CLEAN THE WATERiNLET FALTER
This screen filter should be checked
periodically and cleaned if necessary.1. Remove filter
by grasping endand removingit from water
inlet of pump asshown,
2. Clean filter by flushing it withwater on both sides.
3. Re-insert filter into water inlet of
pump, NOTE: Cone side faces out_
NOTE: Do not operate pressurewasher without filter properly installed_

ENGINEConsult the Engine Owners Manual forthe manufacturer's recommendations
for storage.
PUMPThe manufacturer recommends usinga pump protector/winterizer, such asEXA80, when storing the unit for morethan 30 days and/or when freezingtemperatures are expected, If a pumpprotector/winterizer is not available,*RV antifreeze needs to be run throughthe pump as outlined in the stepsbelow.
NOTE: Using a pump protector/winterizeror *RV antifreeze is to provide properlubrication to the internal seals of the
pump regardless of temperature orenvironment,
1. Obtain a funnel, six ounces of*RVantifreeze, and t6 - 36 inches ofgarden hose with a male hoseconnector attached to one end.
Use only RVantifreeze. Any
other antifreeze is corrosive and
can damage pump,
2. Disconnect spark plug wire,
3. Connect length of garden hose towater inlet of pump.
4. Add *RV antifreeze to hose asshown._
5. Pull engine starter rope slowlyseveral times until antifreeze
comes out of high pressure hoseconnection of pump.
6. Remove garden hose from waterinlet of pump,,
7. Reconnect spark plug wire.
*Windshield washer fluid may also be
used
PRESSURE WASHER
1. Drain all water from high pressurehose, coil it, and store it in cradleof the pressure washer handle.
2. Drain all water from spray gunand wand by holding spray gun ina vertical position with nozzle endpointing down and squeezingtrigger. Store in gun holder,,
3. Store chemical hose so it is
protected from damage.
4. if space is needed, removehandles and replace as shown,.

Disconnect thewater source from the pump inletand turn the water source onto remove all air from the hose..When there is a steady streamof water present, turn watersource off. Re-connect watersource to pump inlet and turn onwater source. Squeeze trigger toremove remaining air'
