What did you like about your image?

I like all the detailing in my image that I added in using colour range and adjusting the colour to green. I especially like the textures in the background of my image as it makes my image not look more realistic.

What would you improve if you did it again?

If I was to redo this image I would focus more in adding more detail and texture to the fur of the panda.

I like the angle and composition of this image as the negative space helps add to the emotion that is presented.

What would you improve if you did it again?

I would have preferred a more central composition for this image. However, I feel this method would be very time consuming to make a childrens book as there is a lot to think about in terms of location, costume and storyline.

and goes back to the store with Batman and everything returns to normal.

Advantages: PDF files are assessable to most computers and devices, they

cannot be edited and are easy to view with high quality images. They are very

quick and easy to create and the file sizes are small enough to be emailed.

Disadvantages: Disadvantages to PDFs are that they take a while to download

and can only be opened using the adobe software. The software however is only

available on windows and apple software.

Audience

My target audience for my book is boys aged 7-11. I feel that superheroes

and action is more stereotyped to boys and that girls like princess, especially

as my target audience is very young, parents are more likely to stick to these

stereotypes. The social class of my target audience will be middle class,

however I do not think this effects my target audience as this book is aimed at

children. My book will be written in English so its geodemographic it is limited

to English speaking countries.

Production Methods

I am going to use rotoscoping to create my images as I like the cartoon feel to

the method but how the images can also look very realistic. I feel this method

would be perfect for the characters. I also like the comic book technique

where I can add filters which I feel would be good for the backgrounds in my

book. I will also used text based method to create titles on the cover of my

book and sound effects when the joker and batman have a fight.

What are the strengths of the proposal? What areas of the proposal need further work?

The strengths of this proposal is the detail. The

audience is described with good information

about boys like and what girls like.

The areas of your proposal you need to consider

is that you haven’t finished how many pages you

are going to do for your book and the size of the

book.

What are the strengths of the idea generation? What areas of idea generation could have been

further developed?

The Mindmap was detailed and it had lots of

information about the story you have chosen.

You have thought a lot about your idea.

You could have created your own superhero.

This would have been good to do because you

can expand the story more.

What are the strengths of the proposal? What areas of the proposal need further work?

It is a very detailed proposal and if followed to

the detail put in, it will be a good story/comic.

The only area that needs more work in the

proposal is the number of pages and the size of

the pages.

What are the strengths of the idea generation? What areas of idea generation could have been

further developed?

It is detailed, there are many options that were

thought about, Batman was a good choice

because there’s a specific location and he

already has his main rival the Joker and there are

already drawing and animations that you can use

to make your own.

You could have maybe created your own

superhero.

What are the strengths of the proposal? What areas of the proposal need further work?

The proposal clearly present your idea and how

you are going to develop and create it.

Be careful with spelling mistakes in your story

over view and your production method there are

only a few and a few sentence that could be re-

worded

What are the strengths of the idea generation? What areas of idea generation could have been

further developed?

Your idea generation shows many developed

ideas that have been thought through well. You

have presented a spider diagram for each theme

you have thought as this has helped to create

your story well.

Maybe have looked into other superheroes its all

pretty good to be honest.

Feedback Summary

Sum up your feedback.

I am happy with the feedback I have received and they all seem to talk about my

mind maps and how they lots of detail. My feedback also mentions that my theme

of superheroes is good as I can explore lots of different stories and characters. All

my feedback mentioned that I could have created my own super hero.

Which parts of your feedback do you agree with and why?

I agree that my mind maps are very detailed and that my chosen theme is go

because there are lots of different stories and comics of Batman that I can explore

and lots of different villains I can include in my story.

Which parts of your feedback do you disagree with and why?

I disagree that I could have made my own super hero as I feel it would have been

to time consuming and I did not really have a idea about an original super hero as

it would have been to similar to a existing super hero. Using a super hero that is

already created is a lot easier I feel as I can create a story but use familiar figures.

Original Script

Johnny Fairchild, age 5, looked out the taxicab window. He was very excited. All around him were the skyscrapers of Gotham City. Gotham was even bigger than he had imagined back at home in Roswell, Georgia, with Mom, Dad, and Jacob. Johnny still couldn't believe he had won the radio contest. The prize was a free trip to the Toy Tower, the world's biggest toy store! It was closing for the night, and Johnny was going to have the whole store to play in. As Johnny was getting out of the cab, he noticed a delivery van speeding away from the store. The side of the van had the words "Felini Movers" written on it. Johnny caught a glimpse of the driver as the van passed. The driver was wearing a dark mask with pointy ears." That's weird," Johnny thought. Maybe the driver was going to a costume party after work. Johnny shrugged. Gotham City was a strange place. Johnny wanted to play with the world-famous KAT-2000, a cat-shaped robot made just for kids. It could play games, help with chores, even make milkshakes. Toy Tower had the only one in the whole world! But when Johnny went inside, he learned that the KAT-2000 had been stolen. The police were looking for clues. But the thief had left no trace. The store manager sighed. "We may never get the KAT-2000 back," she said." Don't be so sure of that," said a deep voice. Everyone turned to look. Johnny couldn't believe it. Batman was here! Just then, Johnny remembered something important. He told Batman about the strange van he had seen." The driver was wearing a dark mask with pointy ears?" asked Batman. "Hmmm...""There's something else," Johnny said. "I heard on TV that the KAT-2000 runs on a special kind of battery. Won't the thief need a supply of those?" Yes." Batman looked at Johnny. "Could you identify that van if you saw it again?" Johnny nodded. Batman smiled. "Would you like to take a ride?" Johnny followed Batman to the Batmobile. He could hardly believe this was happening." Where are we going?" he asked." To the Supervolt Battery Factory," Batman said.

Original Script

"That's where the KAT-2000's battery pack is made. I have a feeling you're right--the thief will have to stock up on the special batteries, or the robot will be useless." The Batmobile zoomed through the streets of Gotham City. In no time at all Batman and Johnny reached the factory." There it is!" Johnny cried. The "Felini Movers" delivery van was parked outside the factory. A dark figure was loading crates into the van. In the glow of a streetlight Johnny saw the pointy ears of a mask." That's the driver I saw," he told Batman." Just as I suspected," Batman said. "It's Catwoman." He pointed to something shiny in the back of the van. "And there's the KAT-2000.""Catwoman, it's all over," Batman announced as he leapt from the Batmobile. "That's what you think," Catwoman replied. She grabbed the KAT-2000 and ran. Batman threw his Batarang, winding a rope around her legs." Look out!" Johnny yelled. "The KAT-2000 is going to fall. "Johnny jumped out of the Batmobile and caught the KAT-2000 just before it hit the ground. The robot was safe." Nice work, Johnny," said Batman." Drat!" cried Catwoman. "I really wanted that robot. It's purr-fect for me. "I get it," Johnny said. "You're a KAT burglar!" Back home in Roswell, Georgia, Johnny told Mom, Dad, and Jacob all about his exciting adventure. The police had arrived and arrested Catwoman. Batman slipped away into the shadows. The manager of Toy Tower was thrilled to get the KAT-2000 back. Johnny finally got his tour of the toy store--with the amazing robot as his guide. And best of all, Johnny got a postcard in the mail." Dear Johnny," it said. "Thanks for your help solving the KAT-2000 crime. I couldn't have done it without you. Batman.”
