Mock-up of idea:

My mock-up idea shows the introduction to my documentary about Gluten. This idea shows me presenting two different food types. On the left food and drink products that contain gluten and on the left, food and drink products that are gluten free. In this scene I would be discussing what the difference is between products which contain Gluten and products that dont contain Gluten.

Survey and peer feedback:Survey layout:I handed this survey out to five people for feedback.

The idea of this survey was to find out if people would enjoy watching my documentary (my chosen idea). The idea of question one was to find out how many people are or arent aware of Gluten. The idea of question two was to find out if people enjoyed watching documentaries or not. The idea of question three was to find out if people would be interested in watching a documentary on Gluten. The idea of question four was to find out what part of a documentary people enjoyed the most.

Survey feedback and analysis of feedback: Question One feedback: Out of the five people who answered this question, only one person knew what Gluten was. This feedback did not surprise me because I knew from first-hand experience that not many people are aware of gluten because people were always asking me what gluten was when I said to them I was gluten free. This is important feedback nonetheless because it confirms that Gluten allergy isnt a well-known allergy making it a unique topic to discuss in my documentary which should make the documentary stand out from other documentaries. Question Two feedback: Out of the five people who answered this question only two of the people said they enjoyed watching documentaries. This was going to be an obvious feedback response because based of research online using websites such as www.Barb.com I found that documentaries are much less popular than most TV programmes such as dramas or soaps.Question Three feedback: Out of the five people who answered this question, four of the people said they would be interested in watching a documentary on Gluten. This is positive feedback for me because it makes me feel more sure and confident on the subject I have chosen to base my documentary on. I feel that, the fact that I have chosen such a unique subject (gluten) for doing my documentary on may be the reason more people are interested, because it something new which a large amount of people have either never heard of or dont understand. Question Four feedback: For this question three people chose for interviews and two people chose videos that back the facts. By them answering this question I know have a strong idea on which elements to focus on for my documentary. The audience is always right.
