SNOW WHITE (1937)

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was Walt Disney’s first full length animated feature film. And was the first of its kind to use Rotoscoping – which it the process of capturing movement. When Snow White was being filmed, they used an actress with Snow Whites costume on, filmed her and then traced over it so they could animate it. So in the film her movements are much more lifelike than it would be if they had just drawn her from scratch.
