We realize that you—our Managers and Members—are the key to our

success. Your hard work, effort and dedication to the cause of natural health keep Nature’s Sunshine going strong. That’s why we want to recognize you for doing the things that help your business and ours grow stronger every day.

At National Convention, NSP recognizes Manager achievements through the annual Development Awards program. The qualification period for these awards is April 1–Nov. 30, 2012.

NSP recognizes achievement in the following categories:

•Sponsoring •ManagerDevelopment

Sponsoring Development AwardThe Sponsoring Development Award centers on sharing Nature’s Sunshine with others. When you sponsor someone with Nature’s Sunshine, you add strength and stability to your group.

100 points required*

Each Manager** will receive 1 point for each new Member he or she personally sponsors (domestic and international).

5 additional points† will be awarded to the Manager for each qualifying new Member who personallysponsorsatleastonenewMemberofhisorherownduringthequalificationperiod.

Each Manager will receive 1 additional point for each new Member (personally sponsored domestically) every time this new Member orders directly from Nature’s Sunshine after his/her initialsign-uporderduringthequalificationperiod.

Each Manager will receive 2 points for each new Member personally sponsored domestically into the Sunshine Rewards Program who maintains at least 3 consecutive months in the Sunshine RewardsProgramduringthequalificationperiod.

*InordertoqualifyforanyDevelopmentAward,aManagermustholdrankinthefinalmonthofqualificationatleastequaltohisorherrankinthelastmonthofthepreviousqualificationperiod.**You must be paid as a Manager the month you sponsor in order to receive the sponsoring points.

†InorderforyoutoreceivethequalifiednewMemberpoints, your sponsoring Member must have signed up during a month you were paid as a Manager. You receive a total of 5 points for each qualified new Member who personally sponsors, and you must be listed as the finder.

Manager Development AwardThe Manager Development Award focuses on your successline. Just as you are the foundation of our success, your Managers are the foundation of yours. Turning your Members into Managers stabilizesyourgroup,solidifiesyourfoundationandensuresyourcontinuedsuccess.

100 points required*

Attheendofthecurrentqualificationterm,Managerswillreceive20 points for each additional Managerintheirsuccessline**abovetheirtotalManagercountinthefinalmonthofthepreviousterm (October 2011).

Sales Increase Development AwardTheSalesIncreaseDevelopmentAwardemphasizesimprovingthebottomlinethroughoutyoursuccessline.

100 points required*

A Manager will receive 12 points for each successline**QV increase of 7,500 over his or her total from thepreviousqualificationperiod(March1–October31,2011).(Minimumbaseof8,000QVpoints)

*InordertoqualifyforanyDevelopmentAward,aManagermustholdrankinthefinalmonthofqualificationatleastequal to his or her rank in the last month of the previousqualificationperiod.

**SuccesslineincludesyouandallofyourMembersandManagersthroughfivelevels.

How Will You Be Recognized? ReceivethefollowingbenefitsforachievingtherequirementsineachoftheDevelopmentAward categories:

Leadership Award

EachManagerwhoqualifiesforallthreeDevelopmentAwards—Sponsoring,ManagerDevelopmentandSalesIncrease—willreceivetheLeadershipAward.Inadditiontospecialon-stagerecognition,theManagerwillbeawardedupto$500foraspecialLeadershipDinner*withhis/herfirst-levelManagers.

President’s Trophy Award

ThetopLeadershipAwardqualifierswillbehonoredasPresident’sTrophyearners.Todeterminethetopqualifiers,pointswillbetotaledfromeachofthethreeDevelopmentAwards. To encourage and recognize balanced achievement, a maximum of 200 points from each individual award will be tallied.

InadditiontothebenefitsgrantedtoLeadershipAwardearners,President’sTrophyearnerswillreceiveanall-expensespaidtripfortwo,includingairfare,toLeadersConference.

*InorderforNSPtoreimburseyouupto$500forthedinner,HomeOfficemustreceiveacopyoftherestaurantreceiptshowinghowmuchyoupaidandalistoftheManagersinattendance.Bothitemsmustbefaxedto801-342-4307,Attention: Sonia Alba. NSP does not pay for any alcoholic beverages.

Manager of the Year

Every year, a special Manager-of-the-Year committee carefully selects one Manager teamfromthelistofLeadershipandPresident’sTrophyearnerstobehonoredasManagerof the Year. This Manager/team not only demonstrates impressive achievement in the DevelopmentAwardsProgrambutalsoexemplifiesprinciplesofsuccess,includingintegrity,service, commitment and ethical practices.

InadditiontothebenefitsgrantedtoPresident’sTrophyearners,ManagersoftheYearareawardedVIPtreatmentatNationalConventionandTACtrip.

Rank Advancement

RankAdvancementpinsandcertificateswillbesenttotheadvancingaccountholdersafter they have maintained the new rank (or higher) for three consecutive months. Recognition in the Sunshine Horizons or Manager Extra magazines will also be done after the third consecutive month is completed for our New Area Managers and above.

Development Award Guidelines 1. Points earned are for awards purposes only. They have no redemption value. 2. Any sponsor who breaks out as a Manager at the time of the bonus run will be awarded

the sponsoring points for that month.

Recognition Benefits & Requirements by RankManager

Benefits:ReceiveManagerkit,recognitioncertificateandpinafterthethirdconsecutivemonthat this rank.

Requirements: Manager must be paid as a Manager for three consecutive months.

Star Benefits:Arecognitioncertificateandpinaresentafterthethirdmonthatthisrank.Aftercompleting

six consecutive months at this rank, the qualifying new Star Manager will receive: •$300travelallowancetoattendNationalConvention2013 •AbeautifulawardandrecognitionduringNationalConvention2013 Note: Travel costs are not included and are the responsibility of the Manager. Manager will

be offered travel allowance only twice.Requirements: Beginning January 2012, all new Star Managers are those who: •Hold6 consecutive months at Star Manager or above •AreStarManagersduringthelastmonthofNationalConvention2013qualification

Star Manager

Area Benefits:NSP will pay for a Leaders Conference for two including travel. The Manager receives

an award, a beautiful gift and is invited to attend a special activity during the event. A recognitioncertificateandpinaresentafterthethirdconsecutivemonthasanAreaManager.

Requirements: Manager must be paid as an Area Manager for six consecutive months.ForfreeLeadersConference,ManagersmustholdatleastArearankbythequalificationdeadline(April2013).ManagerwillbeinvitedtoattendatNSP’sexpenseonlytwice.

Regional

Benefits:Receive $250 a month car allowance. After the third consecutive month at this rank, ManagerreceivesanawardandrecognitionatNationalConvention,arecognitioncertificateand a pin.

Requirements:ManagermustsendanewcarcontracttoHomeOfficetostartreceivingamonthlycarallowance. Car allowance begins the first month at Regional rank and is granted as soonasaqualifyingcarcontractisonfileatHomeOffice.

Divisional

Benefits:OnceaManagerispaidatthislevelforthree consecutive months, NSP will pay for a Divisional trip for two people. Manager will also receive $400 a month for car allowance (with qualifying car contract). Manager will receive award and recognition duringNationalConvention.Arecognitioncertificateandpinaresentafterthethirdconsecutive month at this rank.

Requirements: Manager must be paid as a Divisional Manager for three consecutive months.He/shemustbe at least a Divisional Manager at the time the invitation to the New Divisional Trip is sent out. Manager will be invited to attend at NSP’s expense only twice.

Senior Divisional

Benefits:Manager receives $550 a month car allowance (with qualifying car contract). Manager receives award and recognition during National Convention. A recognition certificateandpinaresentafterthethirdconsecutivemonthatthisrank.

Requirements: Manager must be paid as Senior Divisional Manager for three consecutive months.

Somebenefitsandrecognitionforthefollowingranksarereservedonlyfortheindividuals who originally achieved the rank. See Policies and Procedures for details.

National

Benefits:OnceaManagerispaidasaNationalManager,heorshewillimmediatelyreceivethefollowingbenefits:

•A$700 car allowance for each month during which the Manager is paid as a National Manager and meets the program requirements. Please review the section “Car Program Benefits”inthePoliciesandProcedurebookletformoredetails.

When the Manager is paid as a Global Elite Manager and maintains rank, he/she will be formally recognized at the next National Convention.Heorsheiseligibleforthefollowingbenefits: •AnexlcusiveGlobalElitepin •Eligibilityforlegacypayof5%onthe6th level •EligibilityforLegacypayof1%onalllevels7thandbeyond.(Toqualifyforthe1%

The Manager recognized as the Top Network MarketeratConvention2013willbeselectedfromthepoolof candidates who accomplish the following: •Areidentifiedasa“NetworkMarketer”inthedatabaseatNature’sSunshine •EarnthemostpointsinthethreeDevelopmentAwardCategories 1. Sponsoring Development 2. Manager Development 3.SalesIncreaseDevelopmentEmphasis will be given to those with more points in the Sponsoring Development category. Points have been added to the Sponsoring Development Award for sponsoring new Members with the Sunshine Rewards program.

Top Party–Plan Manager
