DÉPISTAGE VS EVALUATION
• Dépistage (Screening) c’est un processus d’évaluation de la possible présence d’un problème particulier. Le résultat est souvent simplement oui ou non.
• Evaluation (Assessment) c’est un processus qui définit la nature du problème, détermine un diagnostic et propose des recommandations s pour intervenir sur le problème.
L’objectif du dépistage est donc de déterminer s’il existe ou pas un problème.
L’objectif de l’évaluation c’est de rechercher des informations détaillés sur le problème et de proposer des interventions spécifiques pour répondre au problème individuel du patient.
