Where do we get Senior Instructors?(and RTC Chief Instructors)
• PLAN AHEAD! (Before you finalise courses)
• Search your existing membership for SI’s (involve, support, reactivate,
free from other duties?)
• Train your existing DI’s/KI’s (suitable experience & preparation)
o keep your DI’s involved. They are more likely to remain active.
o Consider who your DI’s are and will they have SI potential (lead
and take responsibility for courses)
• Ask neighbouring clubs and centres (work together!)
• Advertise (social media etc.)
• Ask RYA NI for a list (89 names, but only 1 is marked available!)
