POLAR BEAR
What will you need? Polar Bear post cast, radio
Procedure: Play the post cast to your students, remember you can play the post cast twice if it is necessary.
After listening the polar bear speech ask to the students
What do you think of this story? What can we do to make sure there will always be polar bears in the future?
You can ask your students to prepare a short presentation where they answer those questions

PREDICTIONS
What will you need? The post cast of a story could be found on http://www.britishcouncil.org/learnenglish-central-stories-kitemaker.htm
Procedure: Let the students listen the introductory sentences to predict some of the main ideas they expect to hear in the story, ask them to say their predictions in front of their classmates.
After that, play the whole story but tell them to note whether the speaker talks about the points they predicted.
When the students finish listening the story make a brainstorming and ask them if their predictions where right or wrong.
