Regap instead of following your opponent out of the revolving door. They will get out first!

Collect Data• Head on a swivel with out the puck.• Look over your shoulder when picking up

a loose puck.• Look over the net when “wheeling” with

the puck (skating with it from one side to the other behind the net).

• Communicate and move your feet to be an outlet for your partner.

• Weakside D start off the far goal post.

• Giving up too much gap on your opponent’s rush will also give up the middle of the ice.

• Maintain a tight gap to reduce their time and space. Use the web.

• Make contact before the tops of the circles.

• Keeping your stick close to your body baits the forward into thinking they have more gap then they really do.
