YOU’LL NEED avocado – ½ or 1 kale - 3 leaves inc. stem english spinach – 1 ‘root ‘with 6-8 leaves & stems cucumber – 1/2 chopped in 4 celery - 1 stick inc. leaves parsley – 3 stems mint – 2- 3 stalks with leaves pears – 2 chopped inc seeds (no stem) or green apples lemon – 1/2 with with rind ginger – 1-2 thin slices water – 1.5 cups (or coconut water or green tea + dash apple juice if you are inclined) ice – 1 cup (needed for texture + flavour enhancement) TO MAKE •  Simply pop all ingredients in the Vitamix, turn on & increase speed to high. Blend for about

a minute til smooth and creamy. •  Use your pulse switch + tamper stick to get it going.

YOU’LL NEED….. 2 -3 Beetroot + some leaves (chop into))’fingers’ 3 lge Carrots – cut into quarters 2-3 Apples (cut in qtrs) 2-3 sticks Celery with leaves ginger (to taste) TO MAKE…. •  Use a cold pressed juicer such as a Kuvings. •  Process thru all the ingredients! •  Mix & drink or store in fridge in jars.

TIPS You may like to add some ice straight away if your ingredients were not cold.

YOU’LL NEED… 90  (110g) Walnuts or almonds* 1-2 Pears (not too ripe as they don’t discolour) 1 Slice of fresh turmeric – 2-3cm x 1cm diameter 1 Thin slice of fresh ginger 2-3 Slices of lemon with skin 500ml filtered (cold) water HOW TO •  Cold Pressed Machine (eg Kuving’s Silent Juicer) •  Soak almonds overnight to soften & activate •  Drain and discard water •  Process almonds thru juicer with water, keeping 100ml. •  Follow with pears and lemon and turmeric. •  Flush thru remaining water. •  Mix, taste and serve on ice.

NOTE Nuts - equivalent of 18 / 100ml water
