What makes Destiny®

windows GREEN?Destiny® Content - In order for a Destiny® window to meet your needs we use only virgin vinyl for all structural components. The reason is this; each time a product is recycled it looses some of its original strength, rigidity, and ability to weather, therefore a window manufactured out of recycled vinyl would in fact yellow over time and become more brittle and less structurally sound. Now with that said we recycle virtually 100% of our scrap vinyl which gets reprocessed into other non-structural components, soda bottles, etc.

Destiny® Production Process - As a rule we are very conscientious of our environment regarding energy consumption. We actively shut off unnecessary lights and equipment when not in use and will look to work partial weeks and do total production shutdowns during slower months thus limiting the idol time a machine can run and draw unnecessary electricity. This process is simply smart for the environment.

Destiny® is Local - Our manufacturing facility is located in Chicopee, Massachusetts which is an easy ride to your location with most all roads being highway. This provides you with the peace of mind knowing your windows will not require large tractor trailers shipping from long distances, but rather more efficient 16’ and 24’ box trucks traveling primarily at peak efficiency on major highways. As well vinyl, is lighter to transport compared to other conventional building materials thus reducing the amount of fuel and other resources used for such transportation.

Destiny® Recyclability - In addition to vinyl we recycle almost 100% of all scrap glass, aluminum, and cardboard used in our manufacturing process. As well, we run a program where all paper; regardless of where it is generated; faxes, mail, daily production is collected

and sent to a local company for recycling to be turned into many other paper products.

The Destiny is a professionally crafted window combining the beauty of a classical design window with the performance to meet or exceed today’s tough energy standards. Built from only the finest materials, the Destiny window features an all-welded frame and sash design. It features Gold Series triple finned weather stripping that is, on average, 25% better than the standard fin seal used by most manufacturers and, for added benefit, inhibits the growth of mold and mildew. This, along with our ¾” dual or 1” triple insulated glass, exceeds the expectations of the most discriminating homeowner. All Destiny Double Hung windows feature the Encore auto-tilt feature, which eliminates the need for those unsightly tilt latches found on most every other double hung window, making the Destiny Window visually appealing and allowing you to safely clean the Destiny double hung window from the inside of the home.

Each Destiny® includes a locking half screen standard (screen not shown) and offers an optional full screen. All screens also feature UltraView® screen mesh which allows for a clearer look through your new windows compared to traditional fiber and aluminum mesh screens. Allows you to better view the world outside.

Unique auto cam Encore auto tilt system removes the need for unsightly, routed out tilt latches making your window both stronger and more pleasing to the eye. Very easy and safe to tilt in your windows for interior cleaning.

Fully reinforced and interlocking where the top and bottom sashes meet and lock. Our Ccore® reinforcement is a specially engineered polymer composite which is structurally as strong as aluminum but much warmer. This combination helps keep you and your family warm and safe.

Picture Window Our Destiny® picture window is precisely built to your needs and specifications. Whether between a set of double hung’s or over a garage door, your picture window is built with strength and performance in mind. Standing alone or a part of a set the Destiny® picture windows will enhance the décor of any home.

2 Lite Slider Sliding windows are a superb way to allow the most light and ventilation into a home. Sliders go well in contemporary home designs and are a favorite for enclosed porches as well as walk out basements. When the sash is open sliders provide top to bottom air flow which is great for cross ventilation.

3 Lite Slider The three lite configuration can be manufactured in 1/3 equal lite or 1/4-1/2-1/4 for greater flexibility to meet your projects need.

Casement Window The Destiny® casement can be made from one (1) to five (5) wide to meet your project requirements. Multi-wide casements are standard with side vents but can be customized as needed to have all, some, or no operators. Designed for easy use, one latch unlocks the entire sash. After unlocking the multi-point locking system your Destiny® casement will operate smoothly regardless of whether you are cranking them out for ventilation or in for a tight seal. With our dual arm operating system your Destiny® casement is ready

for whatever Mother Nature has to offer. Made with one master frame this uni-frame construction is not only strong, it looks great. Casements provide a classic look for almost any home style but are most often seen in contemporary homes or as accent windows above kitchen sinks and bath tubs.

Non egress Casement hardware, when in full 90 degree open position, allows easy and safe cleaning of exterior glass surface from inside your home.

Awning Awnings are the cousin to casements as they resemble one another but rather than having the hinge on the side, the hinge is on the top. Like the casement they are operated by use of a crank mechanism which projects the sash out. Awnings are a great way to allow for ventilation while at the same time providing protection from light rain should you forget to close the window. Basement HopperThis window is perfect for use in foundations to allow some light and ventilation into a basement. Hoppers are one of the more cost effective windows used for this purpose. Basement Hoppers hinge from the bottom and tilt into the home for ventilation.

Destiny® WindowsLIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

& Glass Breakage WARRANTYNational Vinyl LLC, a leading manufacturer of vinyl windows produces windows in accordance with the highest standards of engineering and product performance. Each Destiny® Window carries a lifetime warranty from the date of installation against any defect in the material or work-manship occurring as a direct result of the manufacturing process, as to the structural parts and mechanical components of the basic window unit (excluding damaged screens) under normal use and service, subject to all of the terms and conditions contained in this warranty certificate. This warranty covers only manufacturing defects as specified herein and does not include defects or damages attributable to installation, normal weather, defects caused by misuse, abuse, accident, fire, flood, or acts of god, vandalism, riot, or civil disorder, building settlement, structural failure of walls or foundation, or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of National Vinyl LLC.This warranty is expressly limited to material costs or repair or replacement of defective parts or components of the window units. Labor costs incurred in the repair or replacement of defective parts or components are not covered under the terms of this warranty. The word "defects" as used in this warranty is defined as imperfections which impair the utility of the product. Minor cosmetic problems are not defects.

INSULATED GLASS - LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTYThe insulated glass unit is warranted against seal failure resulting in obstruction of vision from film formation caused by dust or moisture in the dead air space of the sealed unit for the life of the window. Should the glass fail after 20 years from the original purchase date by the original owner, National Vinyl LLC will charge a fixed percentage of the company's selling price for insulated glass at the time according to the following formula; Years 21-25 = 50%, Years 26-30 = 75%, Years 30+ = 90%. Exclusions - Insulated glass subjected to high humidity levels and rooms with pools, hot tubs, etc.

GLASS BREAKAGE WARRANTYThe Destiny® Window Glass Breakage Warranty covers the original purchaser and is not transferable. If at anytime the glass is broken due to stress cracks or someone accidentally hitting the window glass, National Vinyl LLC will send a new insulated glass unit to the original purchaser. Warranty does not cover installation costs, special packaging or shipping charges of replacement glass unit. This Glass Breakage Warranty is to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred to a new homeowner. The life of the warranty is to the original purchaser as long as they own and live in the home that the windows were originally installed. Glass Breakage Warranty does not include; specialty glass such as tempered, glass with special faux leaded lites, any type of decorative glass which is outsourced, dwellings that are rented or deemed commercial in nature. National Vinyl LLC reserves the right to change glass designs or eliminate glass designs over time.

CONDENSATIONCondensation on any window or door is the natural result of excessive moisture in the home and does not indicate a defec-tive unit or faulty installation. Additional information regarding condensation is available form National Vinyl LLC at your request.

This warranty will only become effective by mailing the certificate of installation signed by the original purchaser-property owner and dealer within 30 days of the completed installation. This Lifetime warranty is transferable by the original owner to one subsequent owner provided National Vinyl LLC receives notice of transfer within thirty (30) days after the date of transfer of ownership, and provided such notice is accompanied by a copy of this completed warranty. In the event of a transfer, the warranty period for the Destiny® Window manufactured by National Vinyl LLC will be 20 years after the original date of manufacture.Claims for defects under this warranty must be submitted in writing to National Vinyl LLC promptly after discovery, describ-ing the defect claimed and referring to the warranty number and date of issuance, together with proof of purchase. Please allow reasonable time for inspection. If, after inspection by National Vinyl LLC or its representative, the claim is valid under the provisions of this warranty, National Vinyl agrees, at its option, to repair or replace (color matching NOT guaranteed) any defective part or component, without charge, except for labor, packaging and shipping.On some installations, caulking is used to seal the frames or trim against water or air penetration. caulking is not considered a part of any National Vinyl LLC product and therefore, is not covered under this warranty. Caulking is normally considered a maintenance responsibility of the property owner.If Destiny® Windows are used in a building operated as a multifamily dwelling or used for commercial purposes, or rented properties such as schools, churches, apartment complexes, government owned structures, office, buildings, etc, then this war-ranty will be limited to twenty (20) years on all materials and will not be transferable.National Vinyl LLC reserves the right to discontinue or make changes in any of its products, including changing the color of its vinyl products, without notice to the purchaser or subsequent owner and shall not be liable to the original purchaser or subsequent owner as a result of such discontinuance or changes.
