MODIFICATIONS OF COMPONENTS POSSIBILITY OF INTERCHANGEABILITY
( 1 ) Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) - From July ‘94 to October ‘95 only Ineco PCB were used. - Starting from October ‘95 production were used the alternatives Ineco / Sit with the following conditions of interchangeability between the two versions: * PCB group (including modulating PCB and reset PCB) => interchangeable *Modulating PCB => not interchangeable *Reset PCB => not interchangeable *Ionization PCB => interchangeable - Starting from May ‘96 (first serial n°A62100155) the comby boilers with ionization ignition (CAB...) are equiped with a new Ineco PCB group that offers the possibility to be connected to a remote control adding an option “Interface PCB”. The situation of PCB interchangeability with the ionization boilers produced before is as follow: * PCB group (including modulating PCB and reset PCB) =>interchangeable with the following conditions: (on boilers produced up to May’96 the new version of PCB group can be used) (on boilers poduced from May ’96 the old PCB group can be used but the possibility to connect the option “Remote control” to the boiler will be lost). * Modulating PCB => not interchangeable * Reset PCB => not interchangeable * Ionization PCB (remain the same codes as before) => interchangeable - Starting from October ‘96 the versions “only heating” have a new electric connection joint to offer the possibility to connect a water storage unit. The p.c.b. used in these versions are the same used in the corresponding models “comby” with the difference that the DHW temperature regulator is blocked at “maximum”. Our customers can buy the specific p.c.b. for “only heating boilers” or they can use the p.c.b. for “comby boilers” and fix the DHW temperature regulator at the “maximum”. The specific codes are 5640360 for 1.20P and 5640380 for 1.20Fi. -Starting from April ‘97 the Ineco ionization PCB change code number because the capa- citive filters were eliminated. New versions are interchangeable with old versions and Sit versions. *Ineco PCB for OF boilers: old 5626110 => new 5642290 *Ineco PCB for FF boilers: old 5627350 => new 5642300 -Starting from January ‘98 the Ineco ionization PCB change code number because the manufacturing has changed (SMD technology). New versions are interchangeable with old versions and Sit versions. *Ineco PCB for OF boilers: old 5626110, 5642290 => new 5645650 *Ineco PCB for FF boilers: old 5627350, 5642300 => new 5645150 -Starting from May ‘99 the Ineco ionization PCB change number (ignition powered). New versions are interchangeable with old versions and Sit versions. *Ineco PCB for OF boilers: old 5626110, 5642290, 5645650 => new 5650610 *Ineco PCB for FF boilers: old 5627350, 5642300, 5645150 => new 5650620
( 2 ) Fan Pressure Switch - Starting from July ‘94 to October ‘95 only Honeywell pressure switches were used. - Starting from November 95 the alternative Tridelta was adopted. * The two altrnative versions (Honeywell and Tridelta) are interchangeable. ( 3 ) Ignition and ionization electrodes - Electrodes mounted in the first versions Luna boilers (July’94): *Right ignition electode :8421951 *Left ignition electrode : 8421961 *Ionization electrode : 8421971 - Starting from November ‘95 the situation is as follow: *Right ignition electrode :8422000 *Left ignition electrode : 8422010 *Ionization electrode : 8421971 (The electrodes version November ‘95 can replace the previous versions). - Starting from March 2000 the situation is as follow: *Right ignition electrode: 8422570 *Left ignition electrode: 8422580 *Ionization electrode : 8422570 (The electrodes version March 2000 can replace the previous versions). ( 4 ) Main exchanger (Luna 20000 kcal/h) - From July ‘94 to May ‘95 was used the main exchanger (without clips) cod.5625680. - Starting from May ‘95 the connections and the fixing clips were modified. The interchangeability with the previous version will be guaranteed only supplying the new main exchanger complet of new clips (Main exchanger with clips cod.5632470). *Old clip (cod.5108550) > New clip (cod.5109470) => not interchangeable. (5) Flue Venturi -First version (Brass): 5609791. -Second version (Aluminium): 5206190. -Version Sept.’96 (Nichel-Plated Brass): 5639230 (used starting from production Sept./Oct.’96). -Special version (year ‘95/’96)supplied as spare part for vertical coaxial connector for Nuvola and Solaria (Aluminium with special manifacture): 5208290. -Plastic version (Ryton) cod.5406670, produced starting from January’98 (1st serial n°:A80306911). * The above versions are interchangeable. Starting from January ‘99 the plastic Venturi has changed (double pipes instead of single pipe). - old code 5406670 => new code 5407050 (not interchangeable). *To replace an old Venturi with a new one, you have to replace also the conveyor bend 45°: (code of the assembly Venturi-Conveyor bend 45°: 600490) (7) Sealed chamber hose adapter assembly Starting from the production of October ‘97 the sealed chamber hose adapter change as follow: -The old version include the pressure control point element cod.5207100and the hose adapter M6 cod.5207050 (as sare parts they can be supplied separately). - The new version cod.5643090 is an assembly that includes pressure point element-hose adap- ter and fixing nut (available as spare part).
• The two versions are interchangeable encreasing the hole on the sealed chamber.
(8) Ignition microswitch and start PCB for LUNA 20 Fp Starting from the production of September ‘97 on the LUNA 20 Fp start the following modifications: -The ignition microswitch group cod.5627110 will be replaced with the new ignition microswitch cod.5645050. *The two components are not interchangeable. -The delayed ignition spark generator cod.5607310 will be replaced with the new Start P.C.B. cod. 5643340. *The two components are not interchangeable. (9) Cold Water Filter (inside the hidraulic Venturi group): Starting from the end of January ‘98 the cold water inlet filter (position n°84-inside the hidraulic Venturi group) changed as follow : - old code: 5109190 => new code 5111180 ___________not interchangeable - the filter and venturi assembly (cod.5630230) doesn’t change code number and it remain interchangeable. (10) Gas Valve: Starting from November ‘97 on ionization gas boilers the gas valve Honeywell VR4605 (cod.5627560) was replaced by the gas valve Honeywell VK4105 (cod.5644680).
