The selected teaching material is a short story about Mr. Hall, who held a big Christmas party on the ice. All the guests he invited enjoyed the party a lot and everything went very well until he woke up the next morning. He found all his furniture had disappeared because the ice had broken up and carried all of the furniture out into the sea.
