SWEET TIME This unit is the first of the book, mainly talking about western traditional festivals and celebrations, which can easily appeal to students. The selected teaching material is a short story about Mr. Hall, who held a big Christmas party on the ice. All the guests he invited enjoyed the party a lot and everything went very well until he woke up the next morning. He found all his furniture had disappeared because the ice had broken up and carried all of the furniture out into the sea.

And they also know how to invite friends to parties with them, using what they've learnt in Listening and Speaking. They are fond of popular culture and quite interested in festivals and parties. So when it comes to Christmas, they spontaneously want to talk and share their own stories.
