First Class TravelWe have drawn on 25 years experience ofconverting Multipurpose vehicles to offer what we know is probably the best wheelchairaccessible vehicle available in today’s market.
The quick, simple, easy loading operation positionsthe wheelchair occupant securely within the mainpassenger cell between the two full size second rowseats. The low, level floor assures excellent visibilityand social inclusion within the passenger group.
So what’s new?Your first reaction may be ‘there’s nothing new inpushing a wheelchair up a ramp into a vehicle’ butwe ask that you take a closer look.
Our first integrated shallow ramp appeared on ouroriginal Nissan Prairie in 1984 and still providesmaximum entry height for both passenger andcarer/driver.
We have developed anew front synchronisedheavy duty restraint, theHook-i Ratchin, which isattached before enteringthe vehicle. If the carerneeds some assistancewe can offer as anoption the Hook-iWinchin which serves as both winchand restraint.
When using the radiocontrolled Winchin the operator must stand in close attendance with the wheelchair
