When STX partnered with n-Ovations, Inc. to create UltraLab™ Premium Laboratory

Casework Systems and Workstations our goal was to exceed the “lowest common

denominator” casework standard that has ruled the industry for the past 40 years.Solid. Rock Solid.

Combining a lifetime of experience in wood

and laminate cabinetry with careers in the

laboratory and shipping industries, it was

natural that the co-developers of UltraLab™

premium casework systems would create a

superior product line with products that are

a) specifically suited to the requirements of

the lab, b) durable enough to withstand

the duress of delivery and handling, and

c) drop-dead gorgeous on installation.

Most of the features offered with UltraLab™

Premium Casework Systems would traditionally

be upgrades or options if they were available

at all. We decided early on to include those in

the UltraLab™ Premium standard. As examples,

one would be hard pressed to find any other

laboratory casework system that provides

European style concealed hinges (with a

lifetime warranty), laminated drawer interiors,

and the heavy grade of construction featured

in UltraLab™ Premium Casework Systems.

UltraLab™ workstations have evolved from user

application driven needs. Our first products

were Sound Attenuation Cabinets used to

suppress the noise of turbomolecular pumps in

mass spectrometry labs. From there we have

evolved to a series of workstations dedicated

to LC/MS and GC/MS, Chromatography (Gas

and Liquid), Elemental Analysis, Atomic

Absorption Spectroscopy, and other analytical

techniques. We have also developed unique

workstation designs that help conserve

valuable lab benchspace. Today, UltraLab™

Workstations are employed in labs across

North America in a wide array of industries

and applications.
