Superyachts represent a significant business opportunity for interior design. The life cycle of large luxury yachts generates regular refits, in addition to the opportunities provided by new commissions. These floating palaces are specified to a standard that surpassed the world’s most prestigious hotels, resorts and private residences

The superyacht industry can be a complex and elusive realm to those not immediately connected to it. Owning a superyacht is possibly the ultimate expression of wealth, but recent studies have also shown that it can be an extremely profitable industry to be a part of. Generating close to six billion euros worth of jobs for those working within it, this massive machine can benefit not only the owner, but also everyone involved in the different stages of a yacht’s life. Considering its potential as an area for new business, it is more important than ever to educate ourselves on what the superyacht industry is really about and what it needs, so that we can adapt, grow and expand into it.

Welcome To A Whole neW World

Welcome to the first SuperyachtDESIGN Week, a gathering of the world’s most influential and innovative designers and suppliers in the large yacht design arena.

The calendar is already saturated with superyacht conferences, boat shows, award ceremonies and symposiums, so this will be none of the above. Nor will it be an egotistical display of wealth and excess. SuperyachtDESIGN Week will instead be a celebration of yacht design. Spread over three days, the event will feature an exciting programme of discussions, scheduled meetings, workshops and demonstrations on all aspects of superyacht design, with some of the industry’s top names. Add to this over 99 showrooms with over 500 international luxury brands featuring unique displays and hosting bespoke events just for you, this will be a refreshing and inspiring gathering that will bring together the brightest and most creative minds under one roof.

We are confident you will enjoy SuperyachtDESIGN Week and, even if you can join us for just a few hours, you will find something of rarity and beauty and, above all, have the opportunity to share visions, ideas and explore what the future holds with the world’s leading lights in large yacht design. We look forward to seeing you at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour in June.

Let’s inspire the next generation of owners.
