A BIM is a shared knowledge resource for information about a facility forming a reliable basis for decisions during its life cycle; defined as existing from earliest concept design to destruction (National BIM Standard United States) Slide 3 Design Delivery BIM Implementation What are the BIM levels? Training and systems: Moving from 2D to 3D New way of working to get outputs Mapping information flows There is not a single or complete solution All stakeholders need to get value out of BIM tools How much enriched data do we invest in the model?
