Dear readers, I w ish to devote th is issue to the in terna l izat ion of our t rademark THE ITALIAN LAB, one of our company’s main st rength po ints. Over the last few months, in ter-nat iona l co l laborat ion has been expanding and adding to even more v is ib i l i ty to our Made- in- I ta ly brand, our product qua l i ty and pecul ia r des ign.In my recent t rave ls to count r ies that were st i l l unknown to me before f rom a bus iness v iewpoint , such as Au-st ra l ia and Morocco, I have not iced a st rong in terest in our products, as of ten happens in a l l the count r ies that I v is i t . Th is in terest is ch ie f ly due to qua l i ty, innovat ion of mater ia ls and at tent ion to the Made- in- I ta ly brand, and th is is a feature cher ished a l l over the wor ld. Late ly agreements have been sea led for I ran ’s market , where a showroom wi l l be soon set up in S ingapore and the Uni ted States.In the f i rs t semester of 2017, we had great sat is fact ion, expor ts were cont inua l ly r is ing and many companies l ike ours cont r ibuted to increas ing the t rade ba lance, the la test data speaks c lear and neat , expor ts +4.3, proud to be par t o f i t . In the second quar ters of th is year, a de legat ion of the Prefecture of Casablanca came f rom Morocco to v is i t our company. Th is group of arch i tects and outdoor des igners, led by the pro ject manager and our par tner Mr. R ida f rom Alken Group, was exc i t ing for the i r sat is factory react ion to see ing the h igh technology in our product ion systems. The v is i t was pa id in two phases, the former to the product ion s i te in Concor-d ia Sagi t tar ia , near Venice, around the 10.000 sq. metre ’s area, where stee l is worked, the la t ter v is i t was pa id to the product ion s i te work ing our UHPC mix (u l t ra-h igh per formance concrete) in Pordenone.

COMPANY VISIT

Dur ing the tour, our outdoor furn i ture was approved for park areas in the newly bu i l t c i ty of CASA ANFA PARK, which wi l l be suppl ied and insta l led by the end of th is year.

On the beaut i fu l promenade of the Giov inazzo Munic ipa l i ty, in the south of I ta ly, bathed by the Medi ter ranean Sea in the prov ince of Bar i , our furn ish ings have been prov ided, which have con-t r ibuted to make i t even more fasc ina-t ing. W i th the suppor t o f our Pasquale Pepe area agent (URBAN DESIGN), are many the i tems suppl ied for the new water f ront pro ject , recyc l ing b ins in two sect ions mod. CLAPS, equipped wi th asht ray, b icyc le rack mod. AGO, bol la rds mod. F IRST B450, the new "SIGNAL" board (wi l l be present in the next cata log) , the benches made in UHPC mod. "ARC" (a model that wi l l be present in the next cata log) , and in the end a monument to the fa l ls of the sea ta i lo red to the customer des igned by a loca l ar t is t .

With a recent agreement between the Phi-l ips l ight ing d iv is ion and the UHPC div i -s ion of THE ITALIAN LAB saw the creat ion of the basment for an innovat ive lamp, featur ing absorbent sound panels, pre-sented at the last in ternat iona l l ight ing event "LUCE".The pro ject saw the product deve lopment f rom prototyp ing to the f in ished product .

BASKET DUBY

Ecolife

Drawn for a Dubai customer, hence the name DUBY, the recyc l ing b in can be custo-mized in the number of sect ions, f rom two to f ive compartments. The DUBY basket is made of s tee l powder coated. The three-sect ion standard basket cons is ts of a suppor t ing st ructure and 2 doors, equipped wi th a un iversa l key lock. On the f ront there are 3 ho les, ins ide are three separate conta iners, capaci-ty : P last ic 50 LT, 50 LT Paper, 60 LT A luminum.

On the doors, by the laser cut , are wr i t ten about the type of waste to be conta ined, ins ide the doors are appl ied co lored p lates to emphasize the wr i t ing and to more eas i ly ident i fy the type of garbage.

On the bot tom are 4 ho les in d iameter 10 mm for the ground f ix ing, a l l co lors can be prov ided.

The Cloud by Fuksas, inaugurated the last October 2016, is the new Congress Centre in Rome and i t is the most fu tur is t ic bu i l -d ing of the Capi ta l . The arch is tar is the Roman Massimi l iano Fuksas that gave to i ts c i ty an un ique arch i tectura l work thanks to the carefu l choice of the mater ia l and i ts engineer ing character.

THE CLOUDBY FUKSASin Rome

The bu i ld ing is made of three e lements: the Blade, a hote l w i th 441 room, next to the congress cent re and des igned as an inde-pendent bu i ld ing; the Theca, a para l le lep iped made of s tee l wi th a double g lass facade that hosts the Cloud, the congress cent re suspended ins ide the Theca, that represents the main e lement of the st ructure.

The ha l l -audi tor ium, which wal ls are complete ly covered wi th wooden panels, is rea l i zed in stee l and dressed outs ide wi th an advanced membrane f iber g lass, to a l low the l ight to come in dur ing the day and to be i l luminated in the n ight . The whole congress cent re can hosts up to 8 thousand people, 2 thou-sand of which can be he ld in the Cloud, rea l i zed wi th a smart modular s t ructure that a l low to create lo ts of smal l rooms.
