to locally solve global issues.

Based upon a couple of trends/ phenomena

Global village phenomena, a connected world

More recently, events, threats and opportunities are not just coming at us

faster or with less predictability, but they are converging and influencing each

other to create completely new situations

Demand for creativity and generating new ideas

Jams, hackatons, fairs,…

Idea generation era

Thousands of locations simultaneously

In theory this is called multiple-discovery

Global challenges are slowly shifting

However, technology is changing even more rapidly

It is more about integrating it into society and different contexts, which makes it complex
