DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS FOR SHIFTING/ RE-CONSTRUCTION OF GAS PIPELINE VALVES UNDER JOYDEVPUR-MYMENSINGH ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (UNDER CUSTOMER FINANCED)
ITEM NO. A.1: MOBILIZATION & DEMOBILIZATIONThe item includes mobilization of contractor's personnel, equipment, machineries etc. including erection of furnished temporary site office with power supply etc. Item also includes complete clean-up of the site, re-instatement of ROW and demobilization of contractor's personnel, equipment, machineries etc. after the completion of the whole work as per direction and approval of Engineer-in-charge.
ITEM NO. A.2: HAULING & CARRYING OF MATERIALS AND LAYING & REHABILITATION of pipelinesThis item includes Hauling and Carrying of line pipes, valves, Coating and Wrapping materials, fittings and all other pipeline materials from Demra or any other Titas store to site, storage of pipes and materials at different locations. Pipe-yard is to be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. The item also includes construction/rehabilitation of valves along with pits of different diameter on 150 psig/50 psig network as per schedule at different places along the Joydebpur-Mymensing highway as per drawing, design and direction of Engineer-in-charge, including stringing of pipes along the pipeline route, digging of trial holes/bell-holes, cleaning of pipes, application of coat and wrap, lowering of pipe at a suitable distance (minimum cover = 3m/10 ft) from the top of the pipe surface and providing special precautionary measures for other utility line crossing, Liaison with concerned authority etc. The item also includes removal of excavated earth/soil, earth rubbish/garbage from the site to a suitable distance at contractors own cost during the execution period of the work. The item does not include any necessary earth cutting/filling and supplying & filling of sand along the pipe line route. ITEM NO. A.3 : Purging, Pneumatic testing AND COMMISSIONING of pipelinesThe item includes Pneumatic Testing, Purging and Commissioning of the newly constructed gas pipelines of various diameter (Test Pressure = 1.5 x Design Pressure) as per drawing, design and direction of Engineer-in-charge. The item includes supply and arrangement of necessary testing equipment, compressor and all other related materials to perform the work such as Pressure Gauge, Temperature Gauge, and other fittings/materials at Contractor's own cost. Chart Recorder and Charts etc. to be supplied by the Company.ITEM NO. A.4: BUTT WELDING
The item includes butt-welding of line pipes, pipes to fittings, fittings to fittings, pipe to valves as per specification, including beveling, cutting, fabrication, end wall thickness reducing, re-beveling as required for any reason etc. complete in all respect as per drawing/design and direction of Engineer-in-charge. The item includes supplying of all types of electrodes and any other materials at contractors own cost.
DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS FOR SHIFTING/ RE-CONSTRUCTION OF GAS PIPELINE VALVES UNDER JOYDEVPUR-MYMENSINGH ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (UNDER CUSTOMER FINANCED)
ITEM NO. A.5: NDT TESTING ON BUTT-WELDING JOINT:
This item includes application of Non Destructive Radiography Testing (NDT) at Butt-Welding Joints over the pipe as per specification/ drawing/ design and direction of Engineer-in-charge. 25% NDT to be performed at butt-welding joints along the 150/140 psig pipe line route as per Natural Gas Safety Rules, all complete, approved and accepted by the Engineer-in-charge. The item includes supply of all materials at contractors own cost.ITEM NO. A.6: BREAKING AND PROVISIONAL RE-INSTATEMENT:
This item includes breaking and provisional re-instatement of brick/pucca/asphalt surface including complete sand filling as per drawing/design and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
ITEM NO.A.7: SUPPLY AND PLACEMENT OF PVC SLLEVES:
This item includes supply & placement of PVC sleeves on pipeline where T & T, Electric Cable etc. exists in pipeline trench as per drawing/design and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
ITEM NO. A.8: VALVE PIT CONSTRUCTION:
This item includes construction of valve pits for different diameter valves as per schedule. All complete as per specification, drawing, design and direction of Engineer-in-charge in/c. earth cutting/filling, supplying of all necessary materials.ITEM NO. A.9: CUTTING /JOINING /TIE-IN OPERATIONThis item includes Cutting / Joining/ Tie-in operation of newly constructed pipelines with the existing pipelines of various diameter at various locations (as per schedule) as well as tie-in/joining of new valves of different diameter as and where required including trenching, digging of trial hole, cutting/removal of existing pipeline and materials, fabrication of necessary materials, fitting, welding, application of coat and wrap, backfilling by sand in all respect as per specification, drawing, design and direction of Engineer-in-charge. The contractor shall take necessary safety measures/ arrangements at his own cost.
