Derelict/Growth.

Foreword.

This is a project that I originally started back in December 2005 during my first year of University. The idea of photographing industrial sites was always something on an interest to me, I liked the decay, I liked capturing the sense of abandonment in the locations I found.

The project it self quickly developed as time passed, I started to concentrate more on the nature that was sprouting from the cracks of the buildings and how like a human being, the buildings where returning to the earth. Nature was engulfing the environments that I visited.

It is a project and idea that I have always wanted to revisit and add to, this is more a collection of the early images I took and I hope to carry on the project in the near future.
