2013 Leg Session• HB 1245–Made $1 rec registration fee permanent– Can’t sell agency-owned vessels in poor
condition– Decriminalized vessel registration– Owners of boats >40 years old and >65’
long conduct an inspection prior to sale or face potential secondary liability.
2013 Continued• Private moorage facilities may
require min bid or line of credit when auctioning vessels.
• Up to $200,000 of program funding for Vessel Turn-in Program
• Boarding authority language added.
