Derek Hughes has performed magic on MTV, VH1, Comedy Central, Penn & Teller's Fool Us on the CW and as a finalist on season 10 of NBCs America's Got Talent. He's also a Consulting Producer on TRU TV's hit series The Carbonaro Effect. But as exciting as creating and performing magic on television can be, his primary love is APPEARING LIVE.

Derek believes magic, in its purest form, is a live performance experience that no camera, no matter how high-def, can truly capture and transmit. He performs regularly at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, California, where for the past 5 years he's been nominated for Parlour Magician of the Year.

From being the only magician ever invited to perform at HBO's prestigious Comedy Arts Festival, to being the "go-to" fill-in for the legendary Mac King at Harrah's in Las Vegas, Derek is truly a unique voice in the art of conjuring. His wry sense of humor and mind-blowing magic and mentalism have made him one of the most sought after entertainers at corporate events and on college campuses across the country.
