•Do school uniforms prevent or curb violence?

•Do school uniforms increase obedience?

A Band-Aid Solution

•School uniform policies act as a “Band-Aid” solution to a set of serious problems lacking easy answers

•School uniform policies also draw us into a false sense of security only conformity can give

•These policies are nothing more than masking agents equivalent to Lysol being sprayed on the social fabric

our society has created

•They are nothing more than duck tape on the aorta, packaged and sold as a breakthrough in heart surgery

Evidence from eight years of empirical research into public school uniforms is clear:
