14.0 Tight shattered ? volcanics, quartz l-2%. Impure granite, and pink granitic felsite S-5%; volcanic material 93-96%; cementing material seems to be volcanic fines, suggeting porosity permeability (dilatancy) was too low to admit any amount of quartz carbonate if it was available or is it a coarse clastic unit with a few continuous finer grained leases 6 inches to l or 2 feet thick which are indistingushiablefrom larger fragments in core. Epidetization is pronounced in the volcanic fines constituting the cementing matrix of the fragmental or coarse pyroclastic. Low grade chalcopyrite and pyrite mineralization is present as disseminated fine spots and short discontinous veinlets. 116.5 - End of Hole.
