Dr. Rexford (Rex) Draman, embodies a wide spectrum of
experiences in his class. He spent 15 years as a business
practitioner working for Eaton and Tracor among others; he
actively participated in more than a few entrepreneurial
ventures, and he entered academia in 1994 where he has
served in both faculty and administrative roles. Earlier this
year Rex published his first book, “The Interdependent
Organization” and is his spare time Rex is a proven all
around handyman. This summer Dr. Draman completed a
comprehensive makeover to his front yard which included a
new paver sidewalk and patio, a stacked limestone curb, and
a new horizontal fence. While his education and experience
are well aligned with his teaching in both Operations and
Strategic Management, Dr. Draman is most passionate about
the emerging field of “Organizational Sustainability” which
he has integrated into his MGT 4371 class this semester. He
is always available to talk and share his understanding and
insights about this topic.
