11th February 2019, was a Red Letter Day for the Faculty and Students of Department of

Commerce and Department of Management Studies under School of Sciences, Arts, Media

and Management of Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (Deemed University),

Coimbatore. Two of their Programs B.Com and MBA has been accredited by Association of

Chartered Certified Accountants, UK, one of the most Prestigious and Globally acclaimed

Professional body of Accountants for more than 100 years now.

By Virtue of this Accreditation, the students of B.Com will benefit 6 papers exemption out of

13, and MBA Finance will get another 3 papers exemption in ACCA Examinations. Karunya is

the First Deemed University in the State of Tamil Nadu to get this honour at MBA Level. On

completion of ACCA along with their regular graduation, students will have a chance of

getting International placements with high salary package.
