The registration fee doesnot include meals served at meetings or social events identified as ticketed functions.The deadline for receipt of advance registrations is April 2, 2010. The Section office mustreceive your registration form and payment no later than April 2, 2010, 5:00 p.m. CST,in order for your name to appear on the meeting roster. Registrations received after thatdate will be processed on site.
Ticketed EventsA list of functions and events where a meal is included can be found on the registration formin this brochure. Ticket requests for all events must be received no later than April 2, 2010.It is advisable to purchase tickets for all desired events in advance, as many Section eventssell out and there is no guarantee that tickets will be available on site.
AccommodationsAll meetings will take place at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel. The deadline to makeroom reservations is March 29, 2010, but we suggest that you make reservations as earlyas possible to be included in the room block at the special ABA rate. publication, Business Law Today (BLT), will transition to an electronic version only starting in May 2010. This will allow
members to receive the same award-winning
publication but in a much timelier basis.
Every CLE presentation at any Section meeting is the product of acommittee and its members. Committees set the agenda and select the speakers for the program(s). Program materials are shared over the listserves, meetings are opened via conference call to a worldwideaudience, and special updates and information are broadcast exclusively to committee members. Involvement in any committee will develop lastingprofessional relationships with other business lawyers. It is important tonote, that Section committees also offer a strong community for those thatdo not have the time to actively participate in the committee's activitiesand projects. Simply joining a committee offers access to the latestdevelopments in that area. Even if you cannot attend the Spring Meeting,committee membership brings you a whole new level of exposure to theSection's content and activities.
