Report (*.IMR) use this to save the report itself; to open and re-run with the latest data

Excel with Format – export the data and open in Excel to finish formatting

Add More Fields


Choose more fields from the left side window

Chosen fields show up in the right side window

Arrow on selected fields means Mark for Insertion

To mark again, click on field and select Mark for Insertion to toggle


Grouping and Associating

Once a group has been created, if you want to stop the data that keeps repeating, you need to Associate the field with the grouping

If you see repeats, then associate is probably needed; example, employee id and employee name

Right click on the repeating field, then Data Definition, then Associate

Steps to Contract Listing


Step

Description

1 File, New, Simple List, OK, All Tables, Open, OK

2 Contracts, Contract Master File (CMF)

3 Click, Hold Cntrl: CMF Acct, CMF SubAcct, CMF Acct Type, CMF Acct Name, CMF Client, CMF Proj Mgr then ARROW, then OK

4 Click on Proj Mgr then GROUP Icon, then OK

5 Click on Proj Mgr name in column, hold left mouse and SWOOP to move to first column

6 Click on CMF Acct, then SORT Icon, then OK

7 Click on CMF SubAcct, then SORT Icon, then OK

8 Click on ZZZ in CMF SubAcct, then Filter Icon, then drop-down <>, then OK

9 Click on C for CMF Acct Type, then Filter Icon, (no drop-down means =), then OK

10 Right click column header for CMF Acct – choose EDIT – delete the letters CMF Acct and type Job; repeat for rest of columns

11 Right Click in the Acct Type Column and choose DELETE

12 Go to Heading, Right Click on “Type Here” and select Edit – replace the Title

13 Go to page footer, Click on top menu bar for Insert, Choose More Objects, Report file Name, drop in footer area.

14 SAVE as IMR which is the report format
