by Delta agencies.

Action Highlights - Social Planning Webpages - Maintenance of current information about “who does
what” in Delta, published for public use - Working with Delta Police and Fire Departments to
share information and collaborative possibilities
Children & Youth
Action Highlights: Support and encourage upstream programming that concentrates on building resilience in children and youth so that they develop safe and productive decision-making skills. Delta agencies work to ensure all children have: safe homes, housing, food, independence, physical and mental health, childcare when needed, excellent schools and opportunities for leisure, sports and cultural activities.
Seniors Action Highlights - Identify and celebrate current services and
encourage development of new services that promote an age-friendly community

Success Story! Options Community Services in Surrey
provides outreach to homeless people in Delta. Connecting Delta Police and Bylaw officers with Options staff has helped secure housing for those who will accept

As of October 1, 2017 203 GARs are expected to arrive in Metro Vancouver before mid-December.
