That’s how I can help… I will share with you and your colleagues everything you need to know for delivering a confident and competent presentation from understanding your audience, having an attention grabbing opening to planning your key messages and effective use of Powerpoint. The programme is fast paced, fun and highly interactive. It usually runs from 9.30am to 4pm.

Summary of ‘Deliver Awesome Presentations’ Training Programme

Objective:

To help business people become confident and competent presenters and public speakers when they undertake presentations in various situations including client briefings, internal team briefings, business events, and sector related events.

Outline Structure:

Part One - morning session - 9.30am to 12.30pm

Preparation : The purpose of your presentation, who is it to, what are they expecting, how long have you got, where are you presenting, are you going to use equipment e.g. slides on a screen

Creating a presentation - visualising it, sketching it out, getting the order right.

Using slides - making the most of words, images, graphs, and potentially videos.

Using powerpoint as a prompt not a script

Structuring the delivery of the presentation - focusing on 3 key parts : opening, key message, summary/call to action

Delivery Style - this is a performance, understanding the importance of you as a reflection of your business.

Recognising the role body language and use of voice play in the impact the presentation has on the audience.

How to use notes and other prompts

Delivering presentations in pairs - how to do this successfully

Handling questions in order to ensure they aren’t disruptive to the presentation and how to stay in control of a Q&A session so your key message doesn’t get diluted.

Overcoming nerves - everyone feels nervous when presenting - we will look at ways to ensure presenters don’t become overly nervous.

Part Two - afternoon session - 1.30pm to 4pm

Practising Presenting using a current company presentation. Also writing and practising delivering ‘elevator pitches’ - what you say when you have a minute to introduce yourself and your company and what you say in response to the question ‘what do you do?’

Part Three - a two hour follow up session

Designed to work with you on ‘live’ presentations, ones that you are booked to deliver. The session is best used a few days before the presentation is due to take place.

I will help you with the finer points of your delivery style.

This session to be taken as and when you need it.

I will ask for a copy of the presentation in advance so I can familiarise myself with it and offer suggests for tweaks before we meet.

The fee assumes the coaching takes place at a venue provided by the hiring company and that they provide refreshments / simple lunch for all participants.

Key Presentation Delivery

Working with you and your colleagues on the delivery of a planned forthcoming key presentation. The presentation could be: • a sales pitch to a potential new client or an existing client you are seeking additional

business from • a presentation to potential or existing investors • presenting your company’s plans to its staff • a presentation about your business at a business or networking event.

The session is designed to run for three hours with additional time available as required.

Your investment : £325 +vat (Travel costs may apply depending on location)
