LETTER FROM THE EDITORThis issue is about taking chances, gaining life experiences, and find-ing yourself. We aren’t always in the exact place we want to be in in life. Sometimes we have to fight for what we want and no matter what the result the only important thing is to keep on striving. Striving for what you believe in, what you are passionate in and what makes your heart pound. Living a life that is rich in experiences, culture, and beauty is a life worth liv-ing. Don’t be afraid to push the limits, cross the boundaries, and go places you have never been before. Ex-plore, get lost, and make mistakes. Don’t hold back as these things will only make you wiser, stronger, and a more well rounded individual. Have a thought different from the crowd. Do what ever you feel like because you only get one life and you might as well live it to the utmost fullest and take advantage of all the beautiful things it has to offer.

Behind the scenes: the cover

This months cover shoot was

inspired by the 1960s. Edie Sedg-

wick, Audrey Hepburn, and Bridget

Bardot were the main muses of

inspiration. Combining a grungy

yet soft Edie Sedgwick feel with a

sensual and feminine Bridget Bar-

dot created our minimalist/hippie/

feminine wardrobe. Using simple

statements like hats, necklaces,

and headscarves we were able to

create an iconic 60s feel without

overdoing it. Subtleness is key in

our spread.

REDEFINING GRUNGE

Grunge is making a comeback and it doesn’t

have to be defined into what it once was. Bring

grunge back into your everyday life by mixing it

with simple, chic peices. Adding one element of

grunge/punk such as a leather jacket or studded belt can make your outift

edgy enough without going full grunge.
