DIPSCOOP October, 2016 Volume 7 Issue 5
Dear parents, With school life being the first step of the ladder of one’s career, it is the teachers who are a blessing in
a student’s life, guiding them through thick and thin. Their assistance, like the sound of wind chimes,
soothes away the pesky worries in a young learner’s mind. They pass on the golden gift of knowledge,
unleashing the potential that’s within each one of us.
The arrival of teacher’s day each September provides the students with the perfect opportunity to
express a heartfelt thanks. The joyous event gave the teachers a well-deserved break and their delight
was evident as they let their inner child take over, zealously singing their favourite songs and glowing
with the warmth of love that the students showered upon them. We present...
Teachers' Day Celebrations
Education is such an aspect of life where the heart is inseparable from our head. The building blocks of
our educational journey are our very own teachers. As imparters of knowledge they harness our abilities
and always bring out the best in their students.
The first week of September saw a week long celebrations of
Teacher’s day. Each Wing had come up with creative ideas to
host a programme for their ardent teachers.
The birth anniversary of the legendary teacher, academic
philosopher and the President of India-
Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was celebrated in full vigour and
fervour.
The students of grade II came up with a skit wherein the
teacher reminisces the days of yore. Respect was paramount
for every student then. With the change in times, the feelings
seem to have eroded. The message was crystal clear.

The third of September was the Grand finale day.The 12 graders were the host of the programme and all the teachers from Pre-Primary to the Senior Secondary enjoyed being the guests. The theme of the show was 80s and 90s with a special tribute to the Indian film industry through a band and dance performance. Along with a few addresses and poems dedicated to our ‘Gurus’ games were also a part of the assembly. The second part of the show was dedicated to just the teachers, where a special power point presentation conveying the regards and wishes of all the dipsites(both the present and ex) was presented.
