The Materials and Style

The collection is made with an exquisite blend of luxurious super-soft european swimwear fabrics and silks. Each piece incorporates dif-ferent techniques such as hand embroidery and unique custom made accessories, they are handcrafted with the highest standards of quality and great attention is paid to make sure that each suit fits in the most flatter-ing way. Fine tailoring and couture aesthetic are applied creating designs that stretch the boundaries of swimwear while remaining el-egant and refined, giving the collection the sophistication of a luxury lifestyle brand.

The Brand

A sophisticated swimwear and resort collec-tion - filled with expressions of eclectic and diverse prints, textures and colors stemming from the multicultural roots of designer “Ber-jheny del Mar”.

Born in Venezuela, raised in Aruba and edu-cated in Europe and the United States, Ber-jheny’s designs exhibit a refined and aes-thetic vision of her cultural background. After studying at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London and the Domus Academy - NABA in Milan, she moved to New York City to persue a fashion degree at Parsons School of Design. During her years at Parsons she interned with the iconic de-signer Narciso Rodriguez and at The House of Gucci, before establishing her namesake brand “BERJHENY Inc.”, in 2012

With the goal and vision to elevate beach-wear to a high fashion standards and inspired by the “laid back glam” lifestyle of Aruba, all the designs are chic and undeniably styl-ish – from the beach to the bust streets of any cosmopolitan city, the concept is a new take on beach inspired ready to wear. The main focus of each piece she designs is to enhance women’s splendor, elegance and beauty by using the inspiration from her Latin American roots combined with cutting edge designs, luxurious materials and handcrafted embellishments.
