connect and engage us. As a construction manager, you bring those creative visions to reality by coordinating teams,
materials and the nuts-and-bolts aspects of a design project from start to finish.
At NewSchool of Architecture and Design (NSAD), we provide you with the tools to specialize in either of these design-
related fields – and the chance to gain a full understanding of how they interact with each other. Architects and
construction managers regularly collaborate on projects, and that’s why we believe it’s important to offer our students
the chance to develop a design-build perspective through our interdisciplinary opportunities at the undergraduate and
graduate level.
At NSAD it’s about learning ways to collaborate and to create inspiring and sustainable new spaces and structures
that enhance our communities and the world around us.
Interior design is a growing and evolving discipline requiring designers to be able to produce functional and beautiful
spaces, fitting human expectations, technology evolution and sustainable perspectives. Whether you are a high school student
with a passion for designing inside spaces or an experienced designer seeking to pursue licensure, NSAD’s practitioner-oriented
Bachelor of Interior Design will put you at the forefront of these trends.Our hands-on interior design program focuses on interior design and
architecture, on interdisciplinary, integrative practice and sustainable, socially responsible design—along with giving you an international
education.
The Bachelor of Interior Design is offered through the Domus Academy School of Design at NSAD. Students will benefit from a truly global
academic experience: visiting faculty and exchange students and other design experts with an international background will contribute to creating
a global design campus experience at NSAD.
Moreover, the Interior Design program offers a built-in study abroad opportunity in Milan at no additional tuition cost.
Our architecture and construction management programs provide you with a distinct set of skills while building on similar foundations. In addition to
developing a firm academic background in your field of specialty, you will learn from practicing professionals who are knowledgeable about current
techniques and technologies.
