SCOOBY DOO THEME

For the game we will greatly appreciate if

everyone attending would dress up ass either Scooby

Doo or Scrappy Doo. We’re using this as our theme

because Scooby Do is a well known fictional dog that

most people in the whole world knows. He has a

place in most of our hearts whether we know it or

not. So please come support the Defending Animal

Cruelty game by dressing as one of these two

cartoon characters.

The game will be held at the school’s home game

against the Kearney Bulldog’s, Friday February 1st

in the North Gym beginning at 5:30 p.m. We chose

this game because Kearney has been one of Platte

Counties most fiercest rivals for a while. We expect

everyone to come show your support for the game

as well for Defending Animal Cruelty.

WHAT IF IT WAS YOU

Close your eyes and put yourself in the animal’s life and

wonder how it would feel to be mistreated or abused.

Constantly we see commercials on the television where animals

are injured and beaten up. When we see this most of us might

get a little sad and show grief but as soon as your show comes

back on you forget all about it. Take the time and think if you

were that animal that is suffering, you would want someone to

help you or at least donate pennies a day to help feed you and

help your illness.

SPEAK UP, LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD

Open your mouth! Speak up on what you believe in

or a cause you think is important! If more people

voice their opinion on the cause then more things will

get done to prevent this and help all of the animals

that deserves to be treated with love and care. You

have the right of free speech, use it!

WAYSIDE WAIFS

Wayside Waifs is an independent non-profit

organization that has been providing safety, comfort,

and love to thousands of animals for over 65 years!

Wayside Waifs allow people to come and adopt a

pet into their homes and treat it with love and care.

Wayside Waifs provide temporary shelters for

homeless and stray animals.

Wayside Waifs fits PCHS for many reasons.

One is that PCHS staff and students have big

hearts. We care about other people rather than

only caring about ourselves. I believe this

community can come together and fight the

cause!

GRAB A BRAIN AND HELP OUT!

We can help Wayside Waifs by getting more

people involved and aware of what's

happening! More and more animals each day

are abused or kicked out on the streets by

their owner. We must prevent this! We must

speak up! We must defend animal cruelty!

HALFTIME IS THE BEST TIME

Although we love watching the game, but

we might love halftime a little more!

Halftime is a great time to grab a bite to

eat, take pictures, use the restroom, and

even take a break from all the screaming.

Most of all, halftime is a time to boogie!

LET’S GET DOWN!

During halftime we will host a series of events.

First will be the raffles, after the raffles we’ll have a

guest speaker from the Wayside Waifs organization,

and last but definitely not the least will be the time

to show your moves! We will invite people from the

crowd dressed as either Scooby or Scrappy Doo to

have a dance off! The best dancer will receive a 500

dollar gift card to Pet Co and or Pet Smart!

AUCTIONS

The auctions will be held before the

game starts out side of the gym. You

will be able to adopt a pet of your

choice from the Wayside Waifs shelter.

We will have categories and pictures of

the pets up for adoption.

You will not have to pay money for any of the pets

up for adoption but we do expect you to pay with

love and care for the animal you adopt. It will be held

on a first come first served bases, you will not be able

to bid on any animal or accept money to let someone

else adopt it under any circumstances.

RAFFLES

We will be holding raffles at halftime, and

no it’s not the chips you like to eat. You’ll

automatically included in the raffle when

you purchase your ticket to enter the game.

There will be 3 winners and each will receive

3 full seasons of Scooby Doo!

For all 3 contestants who win the raffles

will take a group picture with Scooby and

Scrappy Doo! We will post your picture on

the schools website to show your support

for the Pirates as well as Defending Animal

Cruelty.
