Deepa Academy within a short period of time, has established a High School for visually impaired girls, a free college hostel, a computer learning centre and a culturally academy for visually impaired girls.

The Students are regularly securing cent per cent results for 10th Standard every year since 2008.

The academy has identified the hidden talents like Music, Dance in

the visually challenged children and has provided them with an opportunity to get trained in different forms of difficult art like Bharatanatyam, Dollu Kunita (the Karnataka Folk Art), Karnataka Classical and Light Music under the guidance of accomplished artists like Dr. Suparna Venkatesh, Director of Sai Arts International, Smt. Sujatha Murthy – the National Award Winner, Vidushi Smt. Anasuya Dwarakanath, Vidushi Smt. Prabha Inamdar, Vidhushi Smt. Vyjayanthi.

Our students have performed in prestigious platforms like Bharatiya

Vidya Bhavan Festival, the Sai Nruthyosava, Gayana Samaja Yuva Janothsava, Jnana Bharathi, Anjali Dance Festival at Bhuvaneshwar, Ananya Festival of Music and Dance and many more festivals.

conducting Bharathanatyam dance classes

• Vidushi Smt. Anasuya Dwarakanath is conducting music classes

Smt. Annapurna S., Smt. Sujatha Vinod Kumar and Sri. Anand, Smt.

Indira Badarinath and Group is supporting various activities like reader

services, administration, scribe services, recording of notes and text books,

supporting teaching and non-teaching staff in their activities.

• Dr. Sunitha and Dr. Ravi Prakash are rendering their medical services to

the Academy.
