Self adhesive strip leadEasy to produce leaded lights

Simple application

Customers always would like to feel unique. Now you can offer them something individual: Leaded lights, something individual for your customer, made with lead strips and colour films. Apply self adhesive strip lead and colour films into insulated glass and you have something special to offer. Application is so easy, no training is needed. We can help and advise you on introducing our products. Technical and product information is available on request. Stained glass and leaded lights can extend your business, without having any outlay for machines or training.

Equipment All you will need is a flat surface, bench or table; the sharp knife, a lead dispenser, a boning peg and rubber roller. If you are applying colour films a light under the glass or clear work surface is ideal.

Designs The full-scale drawing or template of the required designs should be prepared. You can either do it by hand or you take one of the computer programs which we show further down. This template is placed on the work bench. The glass is then placed over the design. Allow on all four edges enough room for sealant and spacers. The whole procedure would be done as shown on the following page:

• The utmost effect with leaded lights is reached with the integration of glass bevels, especially created for selfadhesive lead strip. Glued to the glass with „white light“ the bevel lasts forever!

Coloured lead (coated)

Coloured lead has been the market for many years. Outdoor use should not create anyproblems. Nevertheless we recommend, that coloured lead is used only indoors or in doubleglazed units. We cannot control the production procedure completely therefore we cannotgive guarantees to weather durability and light fastness

Your customer is interested in a design for his home and for him it is a tedious task to find something suitable. Your best advice and choice of motives is the most you can do for your customer. To help, there is a large variety of pattern books; videos and magazines, but on a computer you can design a motif to suit your customer. Using a computer with the correct programmes and tools: it is not difficult.
