1. Cut 2 test specimens (150±1)mm x (50±1)mm from length

side and width side of 1 plank of laminate flooring;

2. The 2 test specimens shall be stabilized to a constant mass;

3. Determine the initial thickness of test specimens and record;

4. Place the 2 test specimens in water bath which the water is

temperatured at (20±1)℃ for 24h±15m;

5. Dry the 2 test specimens with a towel, and determine the final

thickness;

6. Calculate for each pair of values the thickness swelling in %

according to the formula: (t�n-tin)x100tin
