Adv Lic No. 0710097934 pertains to Bell 407 Helicopter Project from Bell Textron, Canada- wherein we have tomanufacture over 200 plus helicopter parts. The parts have been manufactured and we are in the process of cleaning upthe data for nesting, CAT models, 2d drawings etc. Since the number of parts is more it is taking some time to finalise thedata for submission to NC

Adv Lic No. 0710099970 pertains to Chinook Helicopter Project from Boeing - Philadelphia, US - wherein we have tomanufacture and assemble two major assemblies the RAMP and AFT PYLON. Together, for both the assemblies, wehave to manufacture over 500 parts both metallic and non-metallic. We are still in the process of manufacturing the partsand have completed apprx 50 % production.

Our endeavor is to furnish data for Bell Project by end of this month and Boeing project by end Nov 2014.

In view of the above, I would request if Extra time co~~d.~". give for submission of the data for both the Projects, it would

It needs following clarification,

1. The firm has not given calculation of wastage, Only statementof wastage has been given, That is also not proper. Forexample for item no 78, the firm had applied for import of103568 kg of C5 plates. But it amended the quantity to61,472 kg. But it has given statement for 67076 kg. Similarlyfor item no 79, the firm had applied for import of 8800 kg ofAS plates. But it amended the quantity to 4788 kg. But it hasgiven statement for 4468 kg. Therefore the firm may be askedto submit 51 no 11 of SDl supported by Engg drawing for allraw material.

2, Details of Item no 119 to 124 with specific use & catalogueshas not been given.

1. Model number, technical specification and specific quantity-both in terms of number (ifany) and/or weight, of each export product (Appendix-33 of current HBP refers).

2. Detail technical note on manufacturing process including the relevant flow sheet.

3. Detail technical drawings with dimension of each export product, Catalogue, if any, mayalso be furnished.

4. Weight of each Export Product.

5. Weight of each of the imported and indigenous input, separately for each product, for thepurpose of material balancing. Net weight (Gross weight minus wastage) for eachimported and indigenous input in the export product may be indicated. Net weight alongwith details of other imported input to be used in the resultant product and sought to beimported/procured from sources other than the license, if any, may also be indicated.
