Footnotes:Troy Campbell and his wife Geri Ann (Fuller) are international speak-ers and trainers on leadership and management. Whenever possible, Troy enjoys a challenging game of tennis with Pastor Charles Tapp. His love for Jesus was proclaimed by his baptism last September.

Charlie and Rosie Davis are long time members of Sligo. Charlie is retired and volunteers on the Media Team and Rosie is an R.N., who still works part-time at Doctors Community Hospital, and is a substi-tute greeter.

Jessica Jamieson is a freshman at Sandy Spring High-school. She has been playing the piano since she was 5 years old. She also enjoys arrang-ing music and playing the violin.

Gladys Kelley is a teacher at G.E. Peters Elementary School.

Kevin Knight is a godly man who sees all of life as a gift and all work as a response of gratitude. He exhibits that privilege in his role of keeping Sligo looking clean and tidy. Kevin is planning to become an addictions counselor.

“To Serve with Love”- A new season for Women’s Ministry. It is our desire that every woman has a place at Sligo Church and an opportunity to grow in her walk with Christ. We invite you to join us for faith, fellowship and fun at our next First Monday event, on Monday, January 7, 2013 in the Fellowship Room. Find a place to get connect-ed: Women & the Word – Sabbath School Class meets every Sabbath in the Sanctuary; Book Club – meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month in the Discipleship Room. Knit Night meets in the Prayer Room Wednesday nights, beginning in January.

The Church Office will close for the New Year’s Eve Holi-day at 12 Noon on Monday, December 31. It will also be closed for the New Year’s Day Holiday on Tuesday, January 1. If you have an urgent matter that cannot wait until the office reopens, please call our emergency number 301-980-1009.
