Parishioners can make weekly one me payments or automac payments at stannsofcanyon.org/give. Envelopes can be dropped off at the collecons baskets at the entrance or exit in the Church, in the curbside mailbox in front of the Rectory, or be sent to the parish, P.O. Box 59, Canyon, TX 79015. Merry Christ-Mass! Just as I encouraged everyone to “light ‘er up!” in Clark Griswold style early in Advent, so I want to urge us all to keep the lights on and the spirit of the Christian Christmas season for its duration until the Solemnity of the Baptism of the Lord on January 10, 2021. Wouldn’t it be interesting if we kept the decorations up until the COVID pandemic is declared to be defeated and behind us, hopefully sometime in the summer or fall? I’m just thinking and writing here… May the season continue to unfold its graces for you! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I am deeply grateful for the regular encouragements and prayers you offer me and my vocation. I am especially grateful in this season of giving to find myself on the receiving end of so many beautiful cards, gift cards, checks, snacks and symbols of Christ’s loving embrace. Thank you! I know you have many people to appreciate and bless in this holy season and I’m honored to be included on your lists. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Even though the parish office is closed this week, our staff is actually at work catching up on unfinished tasks and tackling end-of-the-year paperwork. Again, please call the parish office if you have an emergency and of course, if you need a priest, follow the prompts to get in contact with me. Fr. Scott THIS WEEK AT ST.
